exciting adventures! part 1

before i lose the momentum to blog again.

Monday
started my first day of work at junyuan bookshop haha. the pay isnt exactly good, but im jus working so my dad wun keep complaining im doin anything "useful" according to his dictionary. and i dun have any other jobs so i dun have an excuse to not work. the work we do der quite ok lah. now is just unpacking stuffs and arranging stuffs. but even so i expected God to speak to me while i work. but i cant seem to recall it now! ARGH! but overall thank God since i met 2 other brothers in Christ while working. i almost wanted to invite them for Christmas service! haha.

after that i went down to the interchange and we started to gather contacts. and der was this 2 guys which are relatives walked past 2 of the brothers, but they were reluctant to go forth and ask. so i gave them alot of "what ifs". what if this is the only chance they will get in touch with Chrisianity or if this was the chance they were waiting for to know God etc. and so they decided to go, but by then the 2 guys is already out of sight and nowhere to be found.

so i was walking to the other side of the interchange frm small mac. then i saw the 2 guy waiting for bus! so i quickly approached them, managed to strike a gd conversation and i heard the smaller cousin's name, David. i was like hmm.. maybe is frm Christian family so i jus asked if they were Christians. they nodded. then i introduced myself that i was frm y-hope and asked which church they belonged to. and they said they belonged to NONE!! carrying on after that sentence the older cousin said they jus visited any lighthouse services available. after hearing it, i was like YEAH!!! in my heart i was thinking, u can start belonging to y-hope haha! responsive heart with no churches. wad could be better?[however i cant contact them nw, nvm there will be a chance somehow]

i was realli glad that i approached and there, we should never allow ourselves to rob others of their blessing to know Christ.

and the whole time we evaxed were at times whereby there isnt much ppl but i gt arnd 5 contacts and they were all responsive! praise God! but also at the same time, i wasnt the onli one goin all out! in fact the whole east D was goin all out! no wait, i correct myself! all of the East is going all out!! was realli encouraged to see such a sight, a sight of ppl chasing after people upon seeing them. and also people persevering on tho being rejected again and again. this is East! jiayou people!

and then at nite we went to eat long john silver. after we ate yiqin spoke to us and also challenged us. we affirmed one another for the efforts put in. then i also shared bout somethings to them. which was what God spoke to me during my previous night's QT. which is that we will never experience the fullness of joy and happiness until we serve God with ALL our best. and i used brendon as an example as he was one of those that got rejected quite badly but persevered. and when he finally got one contact he was like YEAH!! when we give our best, God will definitely move and thats the time where we experience victory, joy and happiness in full! and also linked it to how important QT is and hw glad i decided to do QT instead of slpin cos it was getting late. and also challenged them to invite for both our mcg and service. i also reminded them of this prayer we made on saturday during service.
"God we pray that every single contact we approach on monday will be responsive. Although its sounds really impossible, but You are the God of impossibilities! So we entrust everything and commit it into Your hand. Amen"
And God indeed is a faithful God! the 5 contacts i got, they are all responsive! and 4 of which may be coming down for service! praise God! as long as we do our best, God will definitely take care and do the rest!

as i walked home, i noe. God was the one who spoke. God is definitely a faithful God ! amen!


because most of us have never tried giving our best for God, we don't know what it feels like. that is why we do not dare to try as it may be too difficult or tiring we think. BUT this is what we call the first step! try giving ur best for God and when u taste the victory God gives. u will noe how great it feels like to be victorious for God. lets give our best!
