one of the worst days..

yesterday (24th july) was one of the worst days i had.. i seldom fall sick.. maybe once in a yr or more.. but that once is always very jialat de.. so ytd i woke up at 6am+ and start going to toilet, had diarrhoea and also vomitted.. it was super uncomfortable.. i went veri often til arnd 9am+ , 10am+.. then i realised i have fever too! man.. nid to run to toilet then no strength to go too! and i practically vomitted the dinner i ate the nite b4 out bit by bit! argh! it was a torture man.. held on to God realli.. clinged on to God tightly.. prayed and prayed.. when der was no more food, i started to vomit out liquid[maybe the soup. ewww gross..] and me being sua gu din noe stomache cant drink milk.. so i drank strawberry milk.. guess what? within 10mins i vomitted it out.. i was practically stuck between lying on the bed and being in the toilet..

God realli blessed me with wad i realli needed, i thought what i needed frm God was just healing of my illness. but! God showed me the extent of His love for me by sending ppl to bless me by caring and concerning, my bro & yiqin prayed for me and yiqin bought some medicine for stomache de [its alot of small small pills and nid to take it by a handful of them tt type.] i realli got better after the prayers and medicine! i managed to sleep well at arnd 3pm+[FINALLY! tho by this time i dun visit the toilet that often anymore.. most likely cos my stomache's alrd emptied..], cos running to toilet at random timings kept me awake since 6am!

went to see doctor at arnd 7pm+.. i have stomache flu and indigestion and also fever! but i tink the doctor forgot to check for fever which i also forgot bout.. when i reached home then i realised i dun have any fever medicine! the supposingly ineffective panadol pills were effective for me that nite! thank God ![i felt so burnt tt nite but yet i cant do anything cos im soo weak..] and also thank God for my family, they were kept busy trying to hlp me.. like putting a cold tower on my forehead to cool me down, and also simple things like trying to get something cos i was totally drained. such a terrible situation i was in..

but guess what?! im already almost healed!!! in God's timing, everything will fall in place! within a day! AMEN! but at the same time i found another bad combination of illness.. last time it was cough, fever and flu.. nw its definitely stomache flu, indigestion and fever! dennis also gave me a call at nite to jus check on how i was doing, which i also thought that being in the family of God is realli different, its the real care and concern that makes the difference!

highlights! S[cube]

nw i'll most likely be blogging the highlights of my wk on wkends, kinda busy during wkdays. and also keeping it short, simple, sweet haha to make it convenient for those who reads my blog.

3 Highlights

East TP prayer meet.
man this is sooo cool. its on wed, i led the games and we also had belated celebration for flo. haha.. think maybe i shud have just ended with the powder. well hope everyone had fun!=D halfway thru praying something happened, somehow tho i was supposed to be abit scared. i was grinning frm ear to ear! im crazy haha! me, ahbe and yanyu tried to see if der are any funny "stuffs" lurking arnd in TP's engineering sch as it was quite late at nite=P. and guess what.. we found.. nothing! yet. it was realli refreshing yep yep.thank God for everone who was der! jiayou East TP!

Sec 1 gathering
went out with the sec 1 cliques for gathering. guess i haven realli been in touch with many of my sec sch friends, except winstar and yiqin.. well we went to celebrate xuan hui's belated birthday at pastamania. after tt we slacked awhile at the playground talking "stories" haha.. shant elaborate much. thanks alot! it was fun!

Today's service!
WAHH.. its realli so fun and nice ! the music was good and tho there were some cropped ups the singers managed to improvise well! tho we din have much visitors today, but we are going to work even harder than b4! after service was even better! had East Amazing Race! to say the truth i actualli was quite reluctant to run arnd with jeans, surprisingly once it started i was actualli the one that moved quite abit which i sweat like crazy after tt haha as if i jus bathed. and East D1 came first!!! YAY!! tho.. ok.. we used strategies haha.. xD well.. time to wake up and start to run like nv b4.=)

tis wk was actualli quite stressed for me until thurs was over. i was stressed but yet this wk also taught me alot on trusting God. from waiting for buses to go TP to meeting God while handling projects. well.. "mada mada dane"[heh its frm an anime i watched recently, meaning it's not over yet!=D] well gonna prepare for an even more victorious wk! cya!

misconceptions.

theres always alot of misconceptions bout church or going to church. examples

1)like going to church means must be christians. which is totally not true haha.

2)going church = become christian. this is even further frm wad is true! and its not a must to convert tho sometimes some churches may be abit more forceful, but frm what i noe in Hope/ Y- Hope, people seldom do that![seldom cos some may not be careful and accidentally abit more forceful] cos we believe its a personal decision that is to be made by you! yeah!

3)become christian = must go church every saturday / sunday! this is also not true! the reason why we go church is because we want too! tho we wud not encourage nt coming for service but if u realli dun wan its still up to u.

4)lastly church is boring! hmm.. i've onli been to 1 church which is Y-Hope but i find it fun the moment i stepped into nexus auditorium[for ur info its not wooden benches and a cross on top! haha cos tt was wad i tot b4 i saw Y-Hope church.] tho there is still sermon time[the pastor preaching] but its definitely nt as seen by tv, the whole 2 hrs sit down and listen for the service. there more to a church than tt!

so many tings i've learnt!

there are jus so many things i've learnt frm y-hope! i've learnt hw to hold conversations. talk to strangers, and many other things! all those skills are all learned by serving God![nx time if someone says going church is useless, tell them to think again. =p]realli thank God for blessing me so much by bringing me into His family. alrite back to my daily but exciting life!=P



Wednesday

Had sch and had a bad cough and sore throat in the morning[those kind when u cough, u will go "ARGH!" cos it hurts. but cant realli sae its excruciating however it still hurts quite abit haha.] asked my caregrp members to pray for me and also took some strepsils[they dun realli work veri well haha, i jus took on the mindset it may hlp ABIT.] and guess wad? i was alot better later that day! no longer coughing with ARGH in my mind too =D yay~ thanks guys! followed up jason[our new believer !] at arnd evening time, went down after sch. woah it was soo cool. i used alot of chinese to do follow up and of cos i learned alot frm him as well[he's frm taiwan]. his chinese is superb! to me, maybe i wasnt gd. but he's realli quite gd in chinese. learned this frm him "xing wo zhe, de yong sheng" a part of the verse john 3 :16 those who believe in me shall have eternal life. its soo cool~ haha.. i rest earli tt nite cos i dun wanna be later for my lecture in the morning on thursday..



Today[thursday]

guess what! i was still late fer my lecture which i was totally crapped by it.. tho i woke up on time.. i had some stomach problems =XX which was not part of wad i "planned". went to lecture half an hr late! arhhh if ders any lecture that i enjoy / dun wan to miss it wud be that subject! and i haven been veri punctual for morning classes either.. arhh God i wanna be punctual! after sch, met up with my cg and also friends of theirs. went to play basketball.. haha.. im totally not veri gd at it.. especially the shooting! and haha.. i've got blisters too.. results of playing barefooted. as usual during matches i missed alot and yeah sometimes winning a MATCH is not important, winning a SOUL is much more important! the impact that we can make when we are not sensitive to others' needs can be so big! so Lord, i want to be more sensitive to others' needs!

alrite then came a point where me, yiqin, ben was against prana and 2junyuan friends. the 2 of them frm junyuan knew hw to play basketball larh! i bet they are alot better than me tho they are onli sec 2. so i was tired.. and suddenly i was able to "fake" the guy and pass thru his "defence" and scored a goal. woah thats like once in a lifetime thing. couldnt imagine i did that. but i was dropped from "heaven" when i missed on shooting further frm the goal hahaha.=p it was realli fun tho its realli tiring. thank God for those friends that joined us today. lesson learned, put on the right gears! alrite haha.. tired ler.. byee

serving God is never boring!

Sunday
in the morning me, yiqin and bren went to have breakfast with our grp's new believer! had a great time teaching him on how to grow in God! after that we went to watch transformers as East D. wooooooooah. its nice! haha i like it. but on a side note it may be a "guy's" thing. cos the movie is like about robots and fighting.. but the graphics are good tho. yeah i wun mind watching it again, if i have the spare money haha.

went for hsekeeping next. there seriously werent as many ppl as usual. thank God fer u ppl who were still willing to hsekeep!

hsekeeping in God's kingdom isnt just about keeping the hse clean, its about serving together with God!=) we learned alot from God during the hsekeeping, we thought thru the biblical principles we can extract out of hsekeeping! and when we are expectant God nv fail to speak to us! amen! one thing which Esther mentioned. when we are serving God/ pioneering schools, its not about how many people we have!
yeahw! if the desire is der, God will pull us thru and we will see the "beautiful" results of our work. to those who are seeing this and if u are pioneering a sch and der arent any fruits yet. PERSEVERE! the fruits of hard labour is always sweet, ALWAYS!

and after the housekeeping, the reward for our "hardwork" was this=)

ICE CREAM! =D haha in this case the fruits of our "hardwork" is literally sweet hahahaha. And of cos not forgetting the "reborned" RC which is cleaner=D all of us are so satisfied with the new look of RC[i wonder if the look is still der? =/] well hsekeeping is realli more than jus cleaning up. the fun of serving God!

lets all have patient hope. patient hope = seeing the future and waiting patiently for God's perfect timing. jiayou EAST!

Monday
had sch as per normal, man.. i gotta buck up on java haha. dennis met the harvestors of East D in tp! we went ITAS to eat and after tt we picked a spot to sit down for the meeting in IT sch.
Dennis asked this question, "wad are the times that are most fun in our life?" i thought thru and i realised actually my fun times are mostly in church, not that i dun have any fun with my friends but most of the fun happens when i serve God! well. to end off this post.. serving God is fun! =D byee

happenings!

Saturday
basically me, yiqin and star went to visit shane. then me and yiqin went for night cycling after tt. haha some stuffs happened along the way and yiqin searched a bike for me desperately just so that i can pei him cycle to simpang bedok to pei brendon. the night cycling was fun tho! =) glad i din had to cycle thru the airport route to changi village. its a torture! cos tt route seems to have no end as u cycle thru it. reached home at 7am+

Sunday
went to housekeeping at rc but in the end i decided to postpone it cos dun have enough ppl and time. thank God for esther,yingjie and yiqin who came down! and sry for making u guys come fer nth haha. we went to eat lunch together and then i went home to slp.

This week
collected results and man.. realli thank God for the good results. in the end out of 6 subjects including CMSK[some comm. skills subject which my grp's project got the highest mark! thank God!] i gt 2As and 4Bs! yay~ and 2 of the subjects were quite high Bs too. a few / half a mark away frm an A. oh did i mention i was super scared during the announcement of result for the last paper. i had super high expectations for tt paper and i wanted an A sooo badly for it. when we went into the tutorial room, our tutor held up 2 sets of paper and he said this "on this hand is the set of papers that got A, and the other set of papers are those tt din get A. so which do u guys want to be given out first? then i think i was distracted by my friend's chatting so i din catch which he said he wud give out first but i somehw catched "A" somewer in his sentence. then he began to say out the matric numbers to collect their paper. then i was like praying so hard he wud say out my number larh! then it reached the last paper. i was like telling God "this last paper is mine rite?" then came the result.. the last paper wasnt mine.. i was soooo disappointed.. then i turned back to see wad my fren got for his paper. it was 38/50. and if u rmb i mentioned in my other post tt 80% was the requirement for A. so nid to get 40 to get an A! then i realised those given out were those tt din had A! I WAS SOOOO RELIEVED that he din called my number! wah.. super scary.. and so God blessed me with the A for tt subject=)

dennis also met the whole guys' grp on tuesday and soon we will not remain dormant anymore and start to burst with energy! haha want to be in a fun grp of guys!? look for it in east D!! yeah~

results.

this whole wk is mainly about collecting results which i cant exactly say im veri excited about all my subjects tho they were still quite ok cos i expected higher results. now im only left with 1 subject and what i've gotten so far is 3Bs and 1A. my CMSK proj mark was also B. kinda stupid arhhh. cos one of my subject left 0.5 marks to A then the project also was a B+. but still i thank God i had kinda gd results. and after awhile looking at my CMSK proj results. i realised smth.. my grp had the highest result! yay~ thank God~~ haha i was hoping to get a GPA of 3.2.. guess its not tt easy after all. =X oh btw in order to get that u nid to get an average mark needs to be an A if im not wrong. well haha. shall blog tmr again bout the many happenings of last wk haha. byee
