CAMP!!
x29 camp! 9-12 dec!we had our x29 camp! unfortunately i dun have alot of photos this time round. but tis time round my life and i believe alot of others' lives been changed greatly!firstly... our very own East D1 floorball stick! we were suppose to make floorball sticks on our own for the games during the camp
i love it! but MAN!! we left it all in SSS!! or did anyone bring it back? please tell me hahaha!our bus trip to Singapore Sports School! once again. the upper deck of the bus is flooded by east people! haha! SBS earns alot of money from us this day.

Some of the matches!man! i rmb the match that the guys played in captain's ball. it was realli a great match tho it was a draw! we were like losing super badly at the beginning, it was like a match between david and goliaths haha! us being david. and opponents goliaths. BUT! we din give up. we jus kept playing encouraging each other to not give up. and when we went out of the hall, we thought we had lost cos we realli lost in quite a huge diff of scores at the beginning. smth like 5-1 i tink. however when the announcements came out. it was a draw! WE WERE LIKE YEAH! to us it was like victory! tho it wasnt like very well played in teamwork at first. but we slowly caught up and got our momentum! and with that momentum we caught up! great job guys!My objectives of Camp- To renew my passion and desire for God's presence to be in my life- To have a breakthrough in patience and self-control- To know God's direction for me currentlythroughout the camp i wasnt der in the morning frm the 2nd day onwards. as the poly peeps had exams.Sundaythe 1st night of teaching was really powerful. a simple question asked by God, so am i for God or not. it realli blew me off and tt was the night of recommitment and focus. throughout the teaching and worship God spoke to me greatly about what i needed to do to have Him back in my life. and i decided to have control over a few things in my life rather then letting have control over me. and so on the 1st day my 1st objectives(as i recommit, i definitely grew in passion and desire for God'spresence to be in my life) and half of the second objectives was met(self-control part).Mondaythe 2nd night was pastor jeff's teaching about why Christians are to be victorious. we learnt the various reasons about why we should be victorious, God was preparing my heart durin the teaching. and when we worshipped, God simply spoke of certain perspectives tat i had which is not exactly the right ones and that i need to break out of it. and that night, i was reminded of how able God is. that even if im not able, i dun nid to worry cos i have a super God!!=) and i took up the challenge of going all out to search for souls, build them up and lead a grp of men thats word-centered and God-centered! and that would be God's direction for me nw.Tuesdaythe 3rd day, in the afternoon there were workshops! and i was in project runaway! hahaha. so basically its about organizing and managing unit and district events. learnt how to plan out events which was realli useful! thank God for cheng and rui yong who were our instructors for the workshop! and in the night, we had our service!!
these are our hosts for the night!we had a realli great time of travelling back in our history. and i definitely love the East family! yeah! i mean who wouldnt! hahaha! and of course other than us loving our East family, we love our leader of our family, Dennis loh!! jiayou dennis! and as you serve God, we will serve and support you all the way!that night was a night of joy! because we realli praise God and worshipped God like nobody's business! this is the way it should be ! the normal Christian life.throughout the camp, i was totally changed. mental,physical and spiritual. why physical too? cos i lost my voice during the camp haha! tgt with a veri bad cough. =x God healed me tho!Wednesdayand on the last day
tho some of us werent der to take photos cos we had exams.God i thank you for the many steps You've taken towards me, the many acts of love You've done for me. and now its my turn to reciprocate and do my best in investing all of what i have into Your kingdom!EAST D1 24! HERE WE COME! if doubling is impossible. then thats the perfect task for us, since our God is the God of impossibilities! faith with deeds is alive!
