SUPER delayed post and SUPER long post
please bear with this long post to see the exciting mission trip in thailand! k gonna blog about my thailand mission trip in Nakornpathom! here goes. =D
9/3/07[Friday]

the start of our journey! its not clear tho haha xD this is the time when we breathe thailand's air and step on their land =/
then i met this ...
this was what i slept on haha. slept on mat and pikachu pillow! haha. PS : i din choose this on my own.
we met pastor chaiweet and som pong at the airport and they brought us to nakornpathom frm bangkok. a trip of 2hrs! arh.. oya in between we had a small break and we ate some chicken rice too on the way to the place we stay. din take a photo of it tho. kinda common. and our day ended with tt. we met keng too. our "tour guide" for the trip.
10/3/07[Saturday]
our first breakfast.=) thailand food. its $1!! and gt free iced water also. its a habit for thai ppl to drink after their meals.

yeah! the grandma and grandchildren caregrp! wahaha so cool rite.
this photo looks so unreal haha. cos its kinda nice to me. this was the field the grandmothers worked in.
we also had the hope nakornpathom kids' cg! haha all of them so small. and the girls find this very chubby boy cute.. *actualli its obesity xD
we woke up earli to go for their morning prayer meet at the church office where the girls stayed in. almost all of us were late. the earliest was tryphoza and christine i think haha=/ nt sure if they were late anot. we also evangelised at a wet market. i spokee in thaiii. onli 3 sentences tho. "Hi my name is Loy.[cos aloysius is too long a word for them]Jesus died on the cross for you because He loves you. Do you believe in Jesus? " these 3 sentences made mi go gaga cos the pronounciations are soo hard. we also went to follow up on a 45 yr old new believer! din take photo. i forgot xD and the climax of the day! i rode on a motorbike! duno its i sua gu or wad but i haven rode on it til this day! super fun!
11/3/07[Sunday]
we rode on motorbike to the place for sunday service too! =)
this is the place. i tot it was veri alike to hw y-hope is like in the past.
he looked alot like louis![y-hope choir de] frm far. man.. this guy is also music-talented, he's a violinist. and oya we wore super formal clothes[long black pants, shirt and shoes] was weird cos we dun do tt for youth service xD oh hoho they have hope clubs there, alot of different clubs teaching ppl french, japanese, violin, drum, english and handcraft. nt bad rite! kinda cool in fact.

the girls trying to do "xian hua cha zai niu fen shang"[fresh flower onto cow dung, direct translation xD] but they failed! cos theres no cow dung! =D]
the roses were given to us by the ppl der as a gift. =)
after service we went to another village in thailand for cg on car. an hr+ ride.we walked on a log bridge to get onto the other side for caregrp!
we found a few interesting things tho=)
tada! rose apple is what they call it. seldom see this in s'pore but i saw it recently at fairprice. =/ din notice there was such a fruit. they grew this by themselves!
and this. ferrero rocher lookalike! its not edible at all! found it on the floor xD

haha. xD they grew bananas too. the ppl we visited were old ppl too. the place is like a small farm. ducks, chickens and... geese! rose apples are nt as gd as apples tho haha.
nx we went to long mai,sam pan[a place in nakornpathom i think] and evangelise. met 3 new believers and they went evangelism along with us too. T_T i forgot to take photos der. T_T the ppl der were realli hospitable. they din noe we were going to visit them yet a mother of a new believer. prepared dinner for us! not a few dishes but quite alot of dishes prepared. some quite spicy tho xD
12/3/07[Monday]
we went to a university to eat our breakfast at arnd 11am+. and we see our first trans[if u dun get it nvm =X] look quite ok til the voice spoiled it all. well had a realli full meal. take a look at our drinks to know what i mean
1 cup is onli like $1 or lesser if im not wrong. HUGE isnt it. compare it to ours. =_=
then we went to one of the palace for sightseeing. cranky photos!
this was the place we went. dun realli have a photo for tt place so its in the background xD
we were going crazy over the "treasure" we found xD
we sat in this too! but i currently dun have the photo tt they took with mi and ben in it yet. aww..then we were told tt we will be having lunch with pastor aun[aka pastor chaiweet] and his family. we were like =O cos we just had our full and stuffed lunch. hwever the food was realli nice haha xD. especialli this dish. take a look below
this is "sugar" yam. it tastes reallliiii niccceeeee. most of the mission trip team liked it. or maybe even loved it. =Dafter tt we went to a shopping centre. i bought a new bag der haha. and oh! we took neoprints=/ tho quality nt as gd as s'pore's
at nite we attended their dmm. its like a church dmm rather than a cg de. we left halfway cos they had to discuss some corporate stuffs. and then me and ben visited the room where the girls enjoyed staying in for the trip. man.. aircon.. shower.. dun hav a photo of where dey stay. but tryphoza's blog has it.and after a long while, their meeting finished. me and ben headed to pastor aun's hse. they often say that their hse nt gd. when i gt to his hse. i was like.. =O grah! so nice! oya we had dinner too=D[the girls din get a chance to eat dinner tt nite. they survived on potato chips! hahaha=D]and then we went to our designated bedroom.
this is a guest room! omigosh. its freaking nice. and the aircon makes funny noises when we switch it off. and i realli mean FUNNY! but tt nite's sleep was.. SUPERRRR. its super comfortable.. arh... morning din have to wake up earli too. cos pastor aun said there was no morning prayer meet. tink maybe miscommunications cos the ppl there say have. =X
13/3/07[Tuesday]we had our first shower bath in thailand.. SHIOK! haha. and then we went to church office to meet up with the girls to eat breakfast together at the university. and after tt was shopping time! again...then we went to the floating market! woah man. alot of interesting things. and ALOT of irritating FLIES! there was alot flying everywhere. the market sells quite abit of food. whether raw or cooked. but 1 thing that amazed mi the most bout the market is that this shop has all the flies stucked on a stick. its LIKE WOOO! NO MORE FLIES! hah. xDand ohya. for the first time of my life. i fed fish =_=

had lots of fun der. played with the pigeons der too haha. saw hw they chase after the food i rolled on the ground, kinda cute haha.then we went to a shopping centre in bangkok. din take much photo tt day. ohya.. this was day that denise did her "my ice cream wun fall stunt." tho its not realli the right timing to do so haha. oh oh.. we also ate japanese food. look below!

this was the room we ate our dinner! it was a nice comfy room. we had some gd laughing session inside.[actualli we always do wherever we go. xD]after our dinner, we went to a nearby place to shop for clothes/ bags etc. its another version of bugis street. but i tink its ALOT bigger. we shopped for quite sometime. bought some nice things der. the ultimate buyer was our team leader, Christine. alot of bags=/ we took bus after tt. kinda nice ride. but it was a loonngggg ride. the tickets were realli special. i still have em with me.=Dafter tt pastor aun took me and ben to his hse right away. it was quite late by then. cos the bus ride last arnd 1-2hrs. nt sure.had a great time b4 we slept. wrote cards. my regret is nv write finish cards T_T.
14/3/07[Wednesday]the day has come for our departure. we went to meet the girls in the morning and i killed a mosquito which produced a hell lot of blood. look at this

yes! we slept xD the girls sat infront. we fell aslp when they woke up. wad great timing haha.

our last moments..the whole team say dun wan cry. tink some did. man.. the "im gonna miss them so badly" feel is getting to us. ohya! the bk in the airport. there is a TRIPLE whooper meal. crazy.when we reached singapore's airport. we were like, THIS IS SINGAPORE'S LAND! SINGAPORE'S AIR! then me and ben were thinking "where is the.. NEAREST WATER COOLER?!" cos thailand dun have and i dun tink it will be drinkable as well haha. and we said in singapore u can bath and when u r thirsty, u can drink at the same time xD kinda gross but its true. well with this i end my journal of mission trip! HOPE NAKORNPATHOM ROCKS!! same goes to the team that went there=D i will nv forget this memorable trip=DD to ppl out der, grab all possible chance to go mission trip! =D
