promises
went to work in the morning. we onli packed for awhile cos left abit onli. wasnt as tiring but we had other work to do as well like packing up the classroom we used, which was quite alot of work as well bt nt as strenous as packing haha.
for past few afternoons i was the one tt kindly volunteered to buy lunch back for them with the bookshop auntie's money of cos haha. but i was kinda tired then i was thinking maybe today to let someone else have the honour of serving. then God reminded me of like even when i was serving, the reason why i serve should be clear. the reason why i helped to buy lunch at first was because i cant stand it when i dun see things moving haha. esp like bein asked to go out buy lunch, normally ppl are alot more hesitant to do so thats why i volunteered. =x bt in the end i still bought lunch back for them haha, the auntie was like looking at me. i knew she was expecting me to go out and buy lunch LOL. so i kindly accepted that honour of buying lunch.
what i should have felt is that if no one is going to serve then i'll do it. but not with the heart of impatience! hahaha. alrites... grow in patience eh? haha.the work ended realli late. it ended arnd 4pm+. i went down to find my cg, they were there since 2pm+ gathering contacts. thank God for u guys! and i joined in the search of souls. oh yah! joseph came down as well! yeah! 1st time he came down to gather contacts, bet he had a different experience from asking other ppl to do surveys haha. actualli he told me that himself =xoh oh, and i'll share brendon's story here. remember in my previous post on monday brendon only had 1 contact after persevering? today God honoured his perseverance and he got 9 contacts!! its God's promises to us, that when we give our best and don't give up. He will definitely bless us with fruitfulness! of course the rest of our grp gave their best and God has realli blessed them with alot of contacts and good ones. we had a total of 48 contacts gathered!i'll skip the middle part but almost at the end of our gathering contacts at 6pm(cos we are fasting frm 12pm to 6pm), i was paired up with brendon. and we were like ok! 7mins left! lets realli chiong and search for our last few contacts. then we saw this guy alighting from the bus stop and parting ways with his friend. we looked at each other then we were like, lets go! hahaha! then we ran after that guy, caught up with him and just talked to him. thank God we did not turn away and pretended we saw nothing! he was a realli responsive contact! and he's free on the days we have events! like tmr! we are having our combined MCG which is a really cool one haha! i'll talk more bout it tmr nite. and he's most likely able to come down for service on sat! praise God!then we had our dinner and went home to do our confirmations for our MCG! everyone of us were really chionging all the contacts we have! i saw my brother taking out his book and calling up one by one, newell and prana kept asking their friends and persevered tho at first they did not have any friends coming down yet. and i started to collate for our grp the no. of people we are having for tmr's MCG including our own people. we started out with 8 of our people, then news came in brendon has 2 visitors! then i had 1 visitor as well! thats 11people, then yiqin had 3 visitors(his cousins!) and so it went up to 14. then my brother had 1 visitor! and its 15 now. and der was more haha! it went up all the way to 19! i think we'll break 20! cos we have quite a few visitors that wants to come but feels paiseh. yeah man! 20 and beyond! great job guys! thank God for all the confirmed visitors as well! God, i pray that they would enjoy tmr's MCG and at the same time a softened heart! amen!wait for more exciting updates tmr! cya! when we do our best, God will take care of the rest. thats God's promise for us to claim!
