first frontier!

tt was the theme of my church camp which lasted 4days and 3 nights frm 11 june to 14 june. hmm it was realli fun, no doubt but above it all it was 4 days of meeting God!

1st Day
we played intensively which means alot of games haha. it was realli fun as everyone was divided into 4 grps before hand namely Black Pearl, Empress, Flying Dutchman and Endeavour[the "house" im in] and yeah frm the grp names cud have guessed the theme of the game was based on the pirates of the carribean! alot were sunburnt and i tot i was an exception til winstar told me otherwise haha. xD oh in "houses" of cos there was teams too and my team had onli 7 ppl=.= which others had more than 10 arnd 11 to 12 i tink? and guess why? its cos some other teams ppl crashed into my team's line when the team leader counted the ppl and in the end they all went to individual teams leaving my team with onli 7 ppl. and everywer we go it was like a handicapped game to other teams bt nt for all stations tho. bt it was realliiii fun haha. that was just the first part of the games and the 2nd part was to protect our flag frm being brought down. haha dun realli noe wads the result but to wad i see every single flag had been brought down =X hahaha.. u can imagine the violent scenes. and i meant violent =X one example wud be at the end of the 2nd part every house din have any water bombs left and guess what they used to pull the last team's flag? poles=.= those used for hanging clothes outside de, supposed to use it to defend our own flag tho=X memorable haha. and those not wearing shoes wud say OUCH! cos the "thorns" of the plants in the field wud slip into the slippers / sandles and prick us. argh. and of cos nt forgetting the teaching of the Word of God! God gave me an "intro" of my objectives for the camp.

2nd Day
throughout the day we had 2 teachings and 1 workshop which was realli great as i learnt alot frm it and alot of applications too haha. and there was the preparation of the mega event "The G.A.P[God's Amazing Plan]" it was different districts presenting the continent they were given eg. Asia , Europe etc. and East got Europe and all of them did great! and the drawings were veri nice too. when i get hold of the pictures i shall post the pictures of the whole team up. yeahh. they rock! haha. and we were supposed to have night games but we din have it as worship & praise extended which i wud prefer it over games but i was looking forward to the night games tho. and it was postponed to wedneday. i tink everyone slept quite earli. maybe a few stayed up abit later. there wasnt much activity YET. =D but East D1 had a small warm up heh heh heh.

3rd Day
had 2 teachings and G.A.P! G.A.P was the nervous moment for those performing on stage. i wasnt as nervous tho cos i was holding the posters heh. those guys did great and there were some commotions hahahaha. G.A.P was realli successful! thank God for those who made it possible!=) wad can i sae. the dancers danced well, the singers sang well and the still arts erm.. stilled well? =X sounds weird. they acted well haha, and the sound effects were great too! and the drawings were realli verii nice. they all performed greatly! hah. oh yarh me and yiqin was talking bout the Holy Spirit moving in the schedules cos normally 3rd night's praise and worship wud be extended and having encores but this time we will also have the postponed night games. and guess wad? there were no night games xD tho i wud love to play the night games but i wud love to praise and worship God more! and the night time comes.. where all crazy y-hopes come alive hahaha. i was supposed to be one of them bt smth cropped up. i wanted to join in the games in the hall but when we were at our dorms gathering in dennis loh's room. it was super stuffy as there alot of guys so i decided to lie on yiqin's bed to get some cooling wind out of the fan which was a wrong wrong decision. i laid down and fell aslp=.= i totally missed the night fun! grrrrr. bt thank God haha i wasnt a victim of the crazy guys in East D=.= amazingly when they wanted to do funny things onto me i woke up and they decided not to. but yiqin, wilfred and joshua werent as fortunate as me tho=DD u can imagine the stuffs happening to them. name it and u have it. toothpaste, water and hair spray etc.

4th Day
last day of camp comes. yeahh.. the "i dun wanna leave camp" feeling comes =X but still we made full use of the lil 1hr+ of photo taking. lotsa stupid photos and the multi-coloured Y-Hope TP students! we've gt ppl frm almost all the schs except applied science. we went to causeway point to eat and went home str8. yeah thats the end of the camp.

something that realli struck me real hard.
every opportunity to serve = opportunity to grow and if we dun obey and serve, God's plan wun stop jus for us but the chance to grow is still der but just that we wun be de one taking it up if we dun serve. so what to do? just serve God! yeah. thats all for nw. will upload some pictures if i get them. =D cya
