mountain moving faith!

One day a 6 year old girl was sitting in a classroom. The teacher was going to explain evolution to the children.

The teacher asked a little boy: Tommy do you see the tree outside?

TOMMY: Yes.

TEACHER: Tommy, do you see the grass outside?

TOMMY: Yes.

TEACHER: Go outside and look up and see if you can see the sky.

TOMMY: Okay. (He returned a few minutes later) Yes, I saw the sky.

TEACHER: Did you see God up there?

TOMMY: No.

TEACHER: That's my point.. We can't see God because he isn't there. Possibly he just doesn't exist.

A little girl spoke up and wanted to ask the boy some questions.

The teacher agreed and the little girl asked the boy: Tommy, do you see the tree outside?

TOMMY: Yes.

LITTLE GIRL: Tommy do you see the grass outside?

TOMMY: Yessssss!

LITTLE GIRL: Did you see the sky?

TOMMY: Yessssss!

LITTLE GIRL: Tommy, do you see the teacher?

this was an email sent to me and i've probably seen it before, but still i find really meaningful because of how child-like the girl was! that type of faith that believes in God even tho she doesn't see God!

and i believe that's the type of faith i need to have in the run of CG08! in fact all of us need to have that mountain moving faith! that even though the end of 08 is near, even though we may be far from our goals, even though God may not seem to be with us. BUT! the fact is when we don't see God, He IS still there!

i would really love to have that kind of faith while chionging for God because God moves according to how much we believe He will give, believe God will bless greatly and God will pour down greatly and vice-versa.

but while we have to complete CG08 for God, let's concentrate at what's before our eyes! HEROES CAMP!! really encourage us to have that kind of super faith to believe that we WILL leave the camp changed forever, NEVER the same! expect God to move greatly in ur lives and set objectives for ur camp! ask ur leaders if u dunno how! let's all walk into HEROES camp with our faith filled to the brim! cya all future heroes in the camp! bye!

haha yeah im here to blog! yay! lol. God just struck me and i can't help but sharing.

was preparing a teaching on realising YOUR calling from God, part of our unleashed series that ED1 is currently embarking on. it's basically a series to get the true warrior and potentialinside of us unleashed!

weeks even before i started preparing for the teaching, God was already preparing me through a whole series of event, from myself not even sure about what i'm called to do, to me running away and not doing it, and lastly i reached the end point. i understood what it means to realise our calling from God, not just that, but why we should get that calling, how do we do it etc.

let me share a few points of what really struck my heart to the core.
-The amount of potential that we contain( the power to change the world! ), that which can't be obtained and unlocked unless God unlocks it for us!
-The amount of fun that we're truly supposed to have! and not the fun we get by playing computer games etc
-The amount of difference we would be living our life!

i can't describe the those huge amounts of whatever that i've mentioned above, but i know that i am only truly happy when i am with God. i am only truly satisfied when i am with God. and i am only truly powerful when i am with God.

weeks where i've not been fulfilling my purpose, i was pretty much rendered useless, the gifts that God gave me, was no longer as prominent in my life. and the authority that God has given to me was taken away as well, and now i know the clear difference of how much God is in my life and not in my life.

but nothing's ever too late, there's always repentance and there you go, the unlimited amount of potential unleashed. the infinite things that you can do with God unlocked! the true fun and enjoyment of life experienced!

really glad that God woke me up big time, it's time to stand up and make a change already.

Our potential is like our treasure vault, it’s hidden and not accessible normally. And God is the only key to that treasure vault in us, hidden away from us since our birth.

hey people, yes been away for quite some time. here to share some really cool stuffs that i learned yesterday=)

How to be a good listener, this was a teaching taught in ytd's DMM, in 8 points.

1) Don’t be prejudiced by first impressions

2) Take time to listen.

3) Without criticisms and judgement at the start

4) Keep calm

5) Listen with empathy

6) Be an active listener, by asking creative questions.

7) Paraphrasing and summarising

8) Recognising the healing power of a listening ear.

but all in all what i learn is this.

The Point of Listening Is Not What You Hear, but the Hearing Itself. ( this was what i found along with the pic when i googled for it )

truthfully. i don't think the pictures shows any link to the words that is being typed together with it hahaha!

but the point is there, the power of listening is really great. being able to listen is really one of the greatest ability one can have to bless people around them. when you just simply listen, there's a difference. and when you start to listen, you make a difference.

really want to encourage anyone whose reading this, if you think your not a very good listener, take some time to stop listen to what ppl around you talk you about before speaking=) im still learning as well=) jiayou! sometimes, listening simply helps and solves everything.=)

lastly end off with a quote.

but word of God tells you what you may not want, but definitely is what you need.

take your choice today, what you truly need or what you want. but regardless know that Jesus wants to be with you above all else, even if you make wrong choices. that's how accepting, graceful and great Jesus is. not the angry, petty and jealous God that you may think He is=)

one of the most nerve wrecking news that the poly grads can expect is the news of the new timetable! and i believe most if not all would say amen to that!

and on the day of release of our new timetable, i overslept and woke up. when i saw the messages on my handphone that the timetable is finally out. i really believe with all my heart thats one of the worst ways to wake up haha, at least for now. some who messaged had really good timetable while some just reminded us to check. but the me at that time, had a totally unprepared heart that went into worrying mode.

was really worried on how the timetable would be, i was scared to even check it! because that very timetable would determine how things would be like in ED1 and ministry. in short, it affects alot of areas of our lives.

but i was reminded by God that we shouldn't worry! and i really took some time to really turn back to God and remind myself of no matter what the timetable is like, whether its good or bad to me it doesn't matter! cos its God's best for me! and with that i committed my timetable into God's mighty hands and i checked.

first thing i checked, wednesday and thursday slot, any clash with cg time? and sadly the answer is yes, and i moved on to other slots and praise God! i end early on tuesday and that would be a good time for cg huddle! and no school on fri! at first glance, my timetable really looks sucky. it seems to be filled with things and everything. and i didn't find it very good even tho i noe it's the best.

but guess what? i just checked my timetable again! and i realised that i almost missed out God's blessings! on certain days i end earlier for this term! because some of those on the timetable are for next term! so for now i end at 3pm for mon and tue, 5pm for wed and thurs and school-less on fri! praise God!! really thank God for everything!

Good is a measurement of man's view of God's best plan for man.
But best is the measurement of God's best plan for men. Best is definitely good for us in God's eyes, but good in man's eye may not be the best for us.

thank You God for the best You have for me, regardless of what the world throws at me now. i'll be alright!=)

God really blesses the poly grads so much, with the best timetable He has for us and also the late camp dates! now we don't have to take our term test during camp! we can enjoy it fully! woohoo! let's jiayou tgt!=)

someone showed me the verse, and usually at the first thought. the verse just appears to be reminding us that if you don't do anything then its not good.

but i was pondering on the verse as i knew that what God wanted to speak to me was much more.

and here goes

by not moving God's kingdom, it does not just mean you do not advance God's kingdom. by choosing to not prioritize building God's kingdom and advancing God's kingdom first does not JUST means you do not advance God's kingdom.

it does really means that you are destroying! you are destroying the future growth and the supposed growth that is supposed to be there if ONLY you choose to step out of your comfort zone, to say "God i will do it."

and when it came to me i really repent of all the times i go lazy and slacky, times when i get comfortable and choose to remain comfortable with close friends and my laptop. thinking of the amount of things i have destroyed in those times that i have not chosen to advance the kingdom of God.

not to even mention the consequence of not moving! it's not just destroying the future growth and the supposed growth.

Proverbs 10:4
Lazy hands make a man poor, but diligent hands bring wealth.

This is God's promise and revelation to the lazy. if you are lazy, because of your laziness you'll contribute to making yourself fruitless and having nothing / little in God's kingdom.

Question to all, are you lazy in any way? lazy to step out of your comfort zone? lazy to stand up against peer pressure? lazy because it is raining? lazy because you are tired?

even when you are tired, you can still be hardworking. cos being hardworking and diligent is about giving your best every moment, not by how much you give measured by results. but by how much you give measured by your willing heart and hands that only God can see.

and of course being diligent would definitely help you see fruits in your life, seeing life transforming for the better, seeing yourself helping others to have a life transformation as well.

*evaluate and reflect on your life, just how much have you really achieved of things that will last and is not temporary?

i know i have achieved at a few things that are TRULY eternal, my relationship with God, my relationships with my friends. and i am working towards my relationship with my family to be eternal as well. there are much more eternal treasures that can be claimed and achieved by us, the question is, will you?

[let's start moving and not get lazy in anything.]

doesn't matter if everyone else around you makes the wrong choice.

cos the decisions a person make, shows the positions a person can take.
only when you're ready and you make the right decisions for God, then will God be able to put u in the position that He wants to use you fully! woohoo!

and how do you know how to make the right decisions? one answer - follow Jesus. whatever that is best to advance God's kingdom would definitely be what Jesus would do. but to know what to do specifically if u really don't know, comes from asking the person taking care of you in the church or the word of God.

to have great success, expect great problems. to have greater success, expect God to move through those great problems.
once again, no problem, no growth, no success!

ED1A, if ur having problems in prioritising God first, good for you. we'll go thru it tgt with God and we'll experience that great success God has for us=D jiayou!=)

hey peeps really want to thank God for all of u!=) the greatest joy of my life other than Jesus would be seeing you guys grow in ur relationship with Jesus! really really seriously meant tt. and before i continue, let's really give thanks to God for a really great and wonderful week last week!

i salute all of you who stepped out of ur comfort zone and grown in certain areas of ur life!

u all know who you are.
you are ppl who took up courage to invite ur friends for service.
inviting ur friends to study tgt with the caregroup.
ppl who prayed for ur friends before the exams shining God's love and light into their lives.
ppl who went all the way for ur sheep tho u r tired.
ppl who made the extra effort to come down and know ur caregroup members more.
ppl who faithfully made effort to know one another more.
ppl who though are persecuted by ur parents, have tuition but still you hang onto God, have faith and you will be able to join us really soon for caregroup huddles and services!=)
ppl that are willing to prioritise God above all ur comfort and come for service.
ppl who are willing to accept Christ even though you were scared but you trusted God for everything and experienced ur very 1st miracle.(yes u just came to know God! yay!=D)

most imptly u guys are the bunch of guys that im so glad to be with, serve with and live life tgt with because you guys are ever so ready to obey God, His word and step out of ur comfort zone. you all know who you are, and you guys are really my heroes! heh=D

we all have nothing much to give God except our life and our time. but however we're gonna do it tgt, not easy but we'll grow in our relationship with God tgt, support each other, help each other to know God more!

in this time of our exams, let's help more of our friends to run home to God! continue to show God's love to ur friends, pray tgt before exams, pray for ur friends before exams, show concern for them, be that available and approachable friend that can be der for them when they are really stressed.

our aim is that by the end of october we're going to see that we have 8 people who know God in ED1 Allouts, but i believe God has a greater plan for us. so let's move beyond seeing 8 people attending service and experiencing God together with us this saturday alrite?!=) let's bring God's love and family to ur friends, let's share the good things experienced with them. great job every single one of you out there! jiayou for this week as well!=)

life is never fair!

was listening to this podcast, The rocky way to God's favor, by Pastor Elwin Ahu

one thing i got from today's podcast was really this, life is NEVER fair. however God is still fair! one of the most commonly asked questions today.

if there is a God, why does He allows suffering?

The answer to this is, God NEVER intended to allow suffering!

Genesis 3:17
To Adam he said, "Because you listened to your wife and ate from the tree about which I commanded you, 'You must not eat of it,' "Cursed is the ground because of you; through painful toil you will eat of it all the days of your life.

it was only because sin came into our lives that suffering came along as well!

there was this guy mentioned in the podcast, he went thru many things even when he really loved and followed God. but he knew what was unfair was life, not God. in fact, a great example of that would be Jesus! He went thru pains, shame, scorn, cross, everything when in the first place He was never at fault!

and ppl also ask questions like why God allows us to fall? and even blames God for that.

and this good example was given, let's say you are father of a child. and ur child is trying to learn how to ride a bike, you wouldn't always be rushing to pick ur child up because you know that only thru falling down can ur child learn where they've gone wrong and attempt to do it right. however that definitely doesn't mean tt you don't love ur child! it's precisely u love them, tt is why u know tt they have to fall to learn. and you definitely dun see a reason to why the child should blame the dad for nt catching him!

but saying that, God's grace is always there to break ur fall still, such that it would never be impossible for u to get up=) thank You God! I LOVE YOU! heh=D

learned many other things today too. but one thing i know, i definitely love my caregroup! ED1 Allouts! we are a small group, we don't have many things, i am not very experienced too. but i know that is the reason why i love leading our grp more! because we can experience so much of God together amen?=D that definitely sounds so much more exciting man! moving towards 8! i believe God will bring us beyond that number though=) look forward to knowing you guys so much more!

and lastly really want to thank God for my loving brother, alfonso! im never good at many things, and recently my wallet's pocket is so torn that coins can never stay inside it! and i asked him for help to sew it up, and now it's old, but to me it's new and i love it really much! thanks alot!=)

i know my focus has to be right! but its just so not easy hah! and yeah im back! really learn alot of things and have really God-blessed testimonies to share! wow.. but haha.. God is reallly amazing when He moves, tho when He dun moves He's amazing still. but personally, i prefer Him to move much more! HAHA! that was totally out of the blue.

man.. but there's so many things that's always happening in our lifes and in our minds. and many times our hearts deceive and minds go stray, and that is the very reason why there's a simple answer to it all. the word of God! i'll focus i'll focus i'll focus. no matter what my heart says or how my mind will run, i really really pray Your word will still my heart and catch my mind. no matter what happens, no matter what happens!!!

losing the focus on God is really such a bad choice forever! keep the focus, keep the focus, keep the focus. live with God, live with God, live with God. i'll need to put these reminders everywhere so even if i want to forget it i cant.. one direction, not right, not left but straight ahead. one audience.. please God even if You have to put casts on my neck, help me look no where else but to You..

no man is above temptations, no man is alone in temptations. so in really nasty words, let's kick temptations butt big time! jiayou my fellow ppl tgt in temptations and trials with me! hah=)

Nothing best describes how we should we live our life for God really than hebrews 12:1-3 shown below. this is the message version and i love the way the whole verse ends with, if you find yourselves flagging in your faith, go over that story again, item by item, that long litany of hostility he plowed through. That will shoot adrenaline into your souls! thank You Jesus.. really.. for all that You've done.. now i know im focused again..

wow the other day(2 days ago actually haha) i was just going biblegateway.com to take a look at the verse of the day and i saw this verse

psalm 143:10
Teach me to do your will,
for you are my God;
may your good Spirit
lead me on level ground.

what an applicable verse to see right after i come back from HKLC! and as i thought thru the verse God revealed to me some new things about doing things with Him.(or maybe i forgot haha)

only when we let God lead us into serving and doing things with Him then will we be able to do things effectively! because in our daily lives there's this irritating guy named satan and truth is he's much wiser and powerful than the us w/o Jesus. and that is why we are already at a disadvantage when we're serving w/o God.

but when you're committing things you do to God, then its a whole different story of serving effectively, since you're serving WITH God, u are not just as powerful as satan, u ARE more powerful than satan since God is with you. sure took me a long time to realise that when i don't serve with God im not on a fair ground with satan, that i am at the disadvantage. well at least now i fight on a higher ground, it's time for victories!

Be in God to serve God, don't serve God to be in God.
(simply means, let serving God be the outflow of ur relationship with God, and not the other way round, letting ur relationship with God being the result of u serving God.)

let's commit everything we do to God and serve on higher grounds together! jiayou!=) to whoever is seeing this, with God everything is possible!=D

haha not gonna post much on it today cos haven get the pictures yet, but man! it certainly changed my life big time which was what i wanted to have when i go der, one of my objectives is to really see my heart and life changed for God! its crazy over der! share more next time=)

but really want to thank God for helping me get to hong kong lc! really got to know ppl so much more, and i hope to know them even more!=)

but especially this 2 dear friends of mine, star and alvin. really got alot closer with them not just physically and spiritually as well. they are really friends whom i know i can serve hard and play hard with! and i know even if i fall, not only God will be there for me, but the 2 of them as well! really thank God for 2 of u and yeah let's jiayou tgt and support each other tgt! ED will GROW! God You are our center and our backing, and this is why we'll really grow! thank You Jesus for everything!

this whole week was 1 whole crazy week. God really blessed me much this week, with exams and studying and everything. it was full of joy=) right from the start of this week, monday one of my sheep decided to walk right with God again! was really super happy for him, was smiling from one end to the other. and really thank God for tt!

and throughout the whole week as i serve God there were fruits and when it was studying, God helped me to be effective as well! tho most times i din sleep very well but God was the source of my energy and helped my mind to be fresh and study well! and times when i was kinda stressed after i talk to God and committed all i have to God, my stress was traded with God's joy! and everytime i enter the exam hall, i enter with such a joyful heart that i can't express it, tho there's small fear here and der in my heart. but just knowing that God is control was enough to overcome it all!

and especially the last subject's exam. the last time i took it for term test i barely passed it by God's grace cos i studied the wrong subject! and think cos of that, since tt time this subject has been a terror to me especially theory parts. i was really afraid i will fail the paper haha, but hours before the exam as i was studying, God really helped me throughout, providing me the strength to study at 5am+ ! praise God! and when i was at the exam hall, the questions weren't much of a problem to me! thank God for everything!

i really can't imagine doing it w/o God, cos i think i would have crushed even before i face the paper if nt for God! i finished the paper way early, arnd 1 hr before it ends. and its not because im able at all! it's really because my God is far greater than all fears and obstacles that stands infront of me. this time round, we(me and God) are victorious in all aspects of my life. ministry, studies, discipline. was teaching one of my sheep last week on overcoming temptations, and was really convicted on one of the things i said.

which is that, we should never be used to getting being defeated by satan. always being defeated at the same area, discipline, laziness, discipline, laziness. really want to encourage everyone to stand up against areas of ur life that u often fall defeated in. its time to stand up with God, be victorious in that area and have breakthroughs!

simply because we ARE called to be VICTORIOUS! Christ-followers are ppl who are called to be and is designed to be victorious ppl. let's claim our victory!=)

time to make the best out of our whole weeks, let's start it well and end it well. for it takes zeal to start the race but character to finish the race. wad a true saying from pastor jeff. let's grow in our characters=) jiayou!

i've somehow spent my life with them and these are the names of the people that i enjoy spending time with and dun mind spending time with. and yes u ppl are more impt than my favorite soya milk! be honoured! haha. but really thank God for u wonderful ppl that God placed in my life, really enjoyed serving and spending time with u guys! and really treasure the fun times we have and all ur presence=) jiayou in growing and knowing God even more man! shall see each other at the end of this race God has called us to run=)

and indeed to see and experience smth beautiful, you first have to experience and go thru smth tough. then only can u see and experience the fullness of the beauty, the results.

was on the bus home jus now and as i was looking out of the bus windows, God jus spoke to me about how God is actually like the trees by the roadside.

the 1st thing God spoke to me about is the trees by the roadside, only when we choose to walk in its shade then would we able to receive the comfort that the the trees provide.

similar to our walk with God, cos its only when we walk with God and in God's ways then will God be able to provide comfort for us whenever we need it. and this is similar to walking in the shades.

but however, there is always a choice to walk out of that shade and walk in the sunlight. and then the shade that the trees provide can no longer reach you. because its a choice you've made, to not want the tree to provide the shade with you.

similar to our walk with God as well, and that is an example of us, disobeying God and walking away from God's ways. as there is always a choice to walk away from God and choose to walk in areas that don't have "shades" or rather God's presence and that would mean that you are refusing the comfort and help that God can provide you with. however that is your choice.

then imagine with me a day that is so scorching that you are dieing to stand/walk in the shades but you are out of the shade and no where near any shade. i bet thats the most torturing part and also the part that we complain of being tough and tiring, not realising that we are the ones that chose to walk out of the shade.

and that is again similar to our Christian walk. many times we complain that serving / walking with God is too tough and tiring, but seldom do we realise that we are the ones that chose to walk out of God's ways and to not walk with God.

and then as i was thinking thru, God helped me realised another fact on overcoming temptations. the scorching sun can be like our temptations as well, that when we stand in the sun it may not be scorching at first u may even enjoy it, but after awhile when it gets real hot and you find that you can't take it.

like how God is the tree, the tree is the solution to ur standing in the scorching sun(exclude buildings or wadsoever haha! imagine a world with only trees and roads.=p ) God is the one that WILL provide the protection that we need against the tempations and when you don't walk with God or in God's ways, then definitely u ARE the most vulnerable to the temptations. since u r wide open to it.

now think again, do you think its not very wise to walk in a very scorching weather when you long to have shades over you. but however you are walking the totally opposite direction of where the shades are?

that is what we are doing exactly, when we tell God we want to overcome and not fall into temptations but yet we don't walk with God or in God's ways.

God is always there, whenever we need Him, we can seek Him but yet like how the trees by the roadside which doesn't force people to stand in their shades that they provide, God doesn't force people to walk with Him or in His ways.

in the kingdom of God, there are no must(s), there are only should(s). those should(s) are definitely solutions to ur life's questions, that is only if u choose to follow. even if sometimes you don't understand yet.

be wise=) choose to walk in the shades today.=)

there's a hole in our hearts where only 1 thing can fit in, and that is our never ending need. Jesus. our heart has a cross shaped hole where only Jesus Himself can fit in perfectly, the times of emptiness, helplessness and many more can be taken away when Jesus is fitted into that hole of our heart.

question today, is Jesus in that hole of ur heart or is smth else in it?

i really hope to live this out man.
if u can handle things, do it with God! so God can bring the best out of you.
if u cant handle things, do it with God! so God can show u the best of Him.

i think i need God more forever! i lack much, but that just means God can move much! so yeah God move in my life much and move in our groups much much much! let Your word be our standards. amen=)

since saturday shirley mentioned about putting the note on standby mode for sony ericsson phones. then i finally rmb-ed about this function.

and so ytd before i sleep, i type what i want to keep in mind or to integrate into my life into standby mode. to remember that God is in charge and another learning. and today the whole day i was really constantly being reminded everytime i look at my phone, God is in charge.. God is in charge! my whole day i really place everything into God's hands and let God take control of it. from the start of my day til the end.

the whole of today seems super busy for me especially with the presentation and the retest i was panicky and cant focus well. and so as i started my day at home i remember that God should be in charge and i told God, God im going to focus on what i have to accomplish first and i'll leave the rest til later because You are in charge and i know that You can help me because You have done so, so many times more than i could ever rmb.

and as i prepared for my presentation and subject assessment, thank God! God helped me to memorise most of my work for it. and when it was my turn to present, God really helped me to be confident and He really blessed me with the questions my teacher asked to assess me. i didnt even noticed i was already being assessed! it was a breeze thru my presentation! praise God!

after that i went to study for my lab test, thank God for my classmates which helped me to spot out several impt things to take note of tho after all that i was still quite worried cos the first time i took the test, i was in a complete blurred state where i took alot longer than usual to setup the 1st step and i wasnt even sure i could pass the retest. but i really did my best study what i can, understand what i can

and as i headed towards the lab and along the way i saw my note on standby mode and i remembered God is in charge! everything is in God's hands, God ia in control! and i went into the lab quite confidently, not because of what i've done but cos God is in control. the lab retest was quite a breeze for me as well! thank God for helping me rmb things i forgot! and i think i got arnd 23 or 24 out of 25=) praise God!

i was on the bus home with my laptop, shoe bag and my bag. and i hate to go on buses with my arms full of things especially if its during a crowded timing! cos its kinda troublesome and it troubles others as well. i was sitting at the back of the bus. there's no bell near it and as i got closer to my stop, the bus got more crowded. and to get to the bell i have to get to the middle with all my belongings dangling here and der. i was super sian-ed and i was hoping someone would press the bell! and the stop i intended to alight at reached, no bell pressed. so the bus went on.

but the interesting part is what goes on from here, i remembered again God is in charge! and so i prayed God the next stop(still close to my house) please send someone to ring the bell!! and as the bus turned and was closing in on to the stop, no one pressed the bell yet and i began to like panick a lil, and i believe that's a slight wavering of faith and i told God, God take away that disbelief from me! even if its a little! i remembered i heard it from somewhere someone prayed this prayer. and held on to it til the last moment.

then the person sitting RIGHT beside me got up and pressed the bell! i was so amazed! the person that God sent to help me was jus right beside me all along! and as i got down, i remember the fact that God answers our prayers even before we pray it! everything is in God's plans and only when u pray, do you realise that God has placed that blessing in ur life, and its not just another lucky thing that happen to u! thats the difference of praying!

and i love this quote from one of pastor shirley's blog post.

i think its true=) when u face problems and yet you are not worried about it, then you definitely know whose in charge of your problems=)

you can be concerned about something, but you shouldnt be worried about it!

because being concerned stops at you know there's a problem, you do what u can and u leave the rest to God's hands! and you have the peace of God in your heart=)

BUT being worried doesnt stop at anything, you'll be basically thinking negatively about the problem endlessly til its solved and most imptly u take things into your hands! and in the process of it is the distrust and lack of faith in God!

What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?

nothing can be against you already! why worry?!

bottomline. know that God is in charge=) or rather let God take charge=D things that are not within our control, is for God to take control=) do u have many things that are out of control in your life? u know why they exists? because you need Jesus to help u take control of the uncontrollable.

and hahaha 1 last thing!=) really encourage ppl to blog! as you never know when God can use ur life's experience to bless others! you'll never know or understand how much impact u can make, because God is the one that amplifies that very impact infinitely. jiayou everyone!=)

really thank God i was able to attend service man! i was quite frustrated and in disbelief that i almost had to miss service for school stuff! cos i almost needed to go back to school to do project on sat, praise God school had to close so my group didnt meet up, had other plans instead! whee!

but man.. sad tt some of us cant attend service to fellowship and know God more cos of parents, tuition etc. its alright man! God will make a way for everything=)

during service 2 new brothers joined us! ming wei and andrew! praise God for the 2 new brothers that came to know Him! hope they enjoyed the service and man, i look forward to seeing them know God even more! WOO!

after service we have a district lunch near esplanade and so before that we went to carrefour at suntec to buy food etc. and there was this row of rocher like chocolate, which costs.. guess what? JUST $1! we were in shocked when dennis told us about it, me and qin went in to buy straight away haha! and its not bad de! not lousy types, but quite ok de. woo God blessed=D after buying food and everything we went to the place and ate, was really fun eating together! haha!

after awhile we got into teams and just played captains ball. it was super fun tho super tiring lol. a few of them wanted to be the goal keeper cos wanted to rest but out of all this fun really learned this principle of positioning ourselves in the right positions especially if u r in a position to influence others and lead them to God. making sure that u r in the best position for the team to advance and then making sure that the others are in their best positions as well. and lastly to advance as a whole team to victory! teamwork is sooo impt! great games guys!

and after all the playing it began to rain.. oh no.. the purpose of us being der is to enjoy tgt and also to watch fireworks tgt. then if it rains our purpose is gone! we joined together in prayer for the rain to go away and decided to stay on tho it was drizzling still. and guess what? thank God He stopped the rain! and we were able to enjoy the views of fireworks=)

quite nice eh?=) this was worth the wait haha, and of course the fellowship that was there. i so enjoy the presence of friends around haha.

DMM retreat!

ytd was great! starting with our lunch at Just Acia, at dhoby ghaut. man food was nice and there was free flow of drinks and ice cream! ultimate shiokness haha. ultimate fattening as well LOL. had loads of fun der man!

shall skip other happenings in between haha! skip right to our DMM retreat. DMM (david's mighty men) is basically a group of people in your caregroups, that support the group and the leader in charge of the group. those games u play in caregroup, worship sessions etc, dun just come impromptu! its planned and organised beforehand! and many other things, but yeah thats the brief idea of it.

we wanted to cycle overnight from east coast then travel to geylang to enjoy food! but man, when we reached it was too late to rent bikes for overnight, the cheaper ones haha.($6 per bike, compared to other shops its half the price!) so we decided not to rent bikes haha.. aww... but! our plan to eat wasnt stopped haha! we met up at eunos station and took bus down to geylang to eat, and our first stop was a dim sum shop! neat stuff they have der! quite nice haha, but oh we travelled for a VERY long time walking haha, cos we kept walking in the wrong directions before we got the correct one.

didnt take picture of the food, we forgot to! argh! but seriously its nice!=) just that its abit ex tho haha.

then we walked down to have beancurd and soya bean drink! WOO!

our next stop was supposedly the durian stall at first, but had some miscommunications haha! ended up walking towards eunos station already! but haha our journey is still far from ending!

we decided since we cant have durians, we'll grab some stuffs from a 24hr shop to eat and drink while we continue talking. and when we stepped into the shop, to a great level of excitement! i SAW IT!

its THE SOYAMILK! its my favourite of favorites, a chocolate flavoured soya milk! oh man... i look forward to heaven more now haha! cos i want to taste the best soyamilk haha! hah forget that, i think heaven has drinks even better than soyamilk.

then we went to qin's hse nearby carpark's top floor. sat down and talked, in fact for every station we went to eat or drink we asked one specific person questions that he must answer haha, its to help us know each other more=)

really got to know all of them even more and deeper, things that i dun know previously and guys seriously i love this type of times man! i love to know ppl more and i love times where i can just spend quality time with ppl, especially close friends! and the family of God is one place we can definitely be ourselves, no mask no nothing. we accept each other for who we truly are, i know i do and i know ppl around me that i know they do too. even if u do things that are so hideous that if its brought to light u feel like u'll rather die, we'll still accept u knowing those facts about u.

DMM. or rather i would call it, a group of friends that are serious in serving God and giving God our best. this is the best type friendship u can get other than ur friendship with God. to do things for a single purpose, to help each other in times of need, to be there for the person. to really simply be a friend and a support for one another.

if u are not in the DMM yet, grow in God much more! be serious about serving God and know why ur serving God so hard! come and serve God seriously together with us, because we know what we are doing. we love Jesus.

lastly guys thanks for ytd's night man! its one crazy night that i'll never forget, i had so much fun knowing u guys and being with u guys. our friendship will never end, not even death can end it now since we have Jesus.

one of the things that struck me this week was this, we were chosen by God to love, not to work! we were chosen to love God and love people.

but some of us may have already dropped into working for God and u may find some of the symptoms below familiar. u feel really tired out easily / quite disinterested in things u do / not wanting to give your best

and those things happen because simply we're not doing it for God, not to begin speaking about doing it with God.

one example God showed me was this, do u call buying things for ur husband/wife a work? or do u call inviting ur friends to ur best friend's party a work? do call doing things for people u love a work? because when u buy meals for people u love, u dun say im working for them. but rather its an act of love that you do it. are you working or loving?=)

Things i learnt today
and today as i speak to one of my friend about obedience to God, that obedience is a one-way thing. its either u obey or not, and as i spoke, i need to contact this friend of mine to ask him some things and its kinda awkward cos i feel that he's not really comfortable in communicating with me, not jus assumption but also because of certain things that happen. and being a typical a person that tries to hesitate haha, i ask again and if im required to talk. then so be it, i'll obey.

but that still is not perfect obedience, cos perfect obedience is doing w/o any hesitation. i have so much to learn on putting obedience into practise. its never easy man, it takes courage to obey and it takes to put aside our values for God's values to come in. God help me in this! obey obey obey. i seriously seriously need to grow man.

obedience to God is clear cut. its either obedience or disobedience.
same goes to what you need to obey, its clear cut. its either right or wrong, and of course obey the right things!
and right things = what God tells u / commands u to do.
but thru all the hard decisions u make to follow God, what comes next are God's blessings to u=)

and disobedience robs away that very blessing that God had intended to give u.

share some really crazy bus testimonies.

there was around twice or thrice around this wk and last wk, i was running late and i really prayed that God would send me a bus and God really sent it! and i noe that buses normally reach arnd 8.45, 9.45 or 10.45 etc and so when i ran down on 1 of the days i saw the time and it was slightly past the 45min mark. and i was like ahh.. cant afford to be late! but i prayed and God really blessed!=)

and then i checked out the number for iris haha, i was using it and was wondering like, what if thru the using of iris i experience God less? since i noe all the timings etc. that nite God proved me downright wrong haha! i was taking bus home was quite late ler( from service i think) then i wanted to take 34 home cos im too lazy to walk home! quite tired haha.. and when i alighted i was praying that there would still be bus, but when i checked the timing for last bus, it was over ler.. was kinda like disappointed haha cos need to walk home=x

but somehw i decided to give it a shot at iris to see if ders any bus coming! AND WOAH! there was indeed a last of the last bus 34 coming on the way! it was 6 minutes late! and if u noe its barely impossible for that to happen cos last buses are either early or on time most of the time. seldom late! even for a minute or 2! really thank God man!

and then there was once i used iris again to check the timing for buses to interchange cos i was late ler, and the next bus to interchange is going to come at 8minutes! i was really like oh no... really prayed God would somehw send a bus and after awhile a bus came, really amazed!

and another time the bus was gonna come at 10.52 i think and iris is really pretty accurate de. and when i ran down i kept looking at the clock i was like ahhh shucks shucks.. prayed that God would slow the bus down for me and as i ran i literally went "God you'll slow the bus for me rite? haha" and guess what?! it arrived 2 minutes late! its super impt ok haha. it lies between me being punctual and me being late! i really dislike being late.. trying my best to be as punctual as i can haha!

and much more bus testimonies! but beyond all these testimonies, God showed me that it IS possible for anything to happen, from the slowing of buses, to the arrival of buses, to delaying last bus! if God has control even on those things are not even living or breathing, whats more souls?! and when God says the harvest will come, i believe sincerely it will come to pass somehow or rather! amen! the changing of people's heart, and everything! everything that can be prayed for and is according to the will of God, God will fulfil!

and well.. smth that is random haha. a video made by me and my project grp for our CMSK assignment. street zapper is our product, cleans rubbish efficiently correct ler haha.

haha i look so pitiful! it felt really funny to me hahahaha! it was not intended to be lidat de, then when we were editting the video and we added the background music, it somehw turned out to be lidat! i think its kinda cool! haha=D at least i had fun in the project!

God now i know all things are really possible. help us and deliver us!

God really blessed me greatly throughout the whole of last week! And the greatest blessings comes from having the presence of the people around me=)

ED1. u guys rock my life great time! i have alot of people i want to thank God for, but i think i'll just write u guys cards haha if nt i'll have an endless post cos u guys are really such great blessings !=)

but really wanna thank God for my sheep, daniel. thank God that u make effort in stepping out of ur comfort zone! small steps at a time, but u are definitely moving together and growing in God more! let's give God nothing but our best in everything we do amen?! =)

and also wan to thank God for the 3 new brothers that joined us last saturday! Shi hao, Zhi hao and Sean!

they are really fun people and i enjoy being with them great time! really really super glad to have seen you guys coming to receive and wanting to know more about this God that i know=)

hey Sean! glad to have u in our family of East D 1! i would love to know you even more man! i believe you can experience God in your life as well! Jesus is an amazing God which can do things beyond ur imaginations, trust me on that haha! im a living evidence of it, complete crazy computer addict to someone who is no longer addicted to computer games! God is definitely so much better than computers haha! jiayou in knowing and growing in God more!=)

im really completely totally amazed at what God can do, tho most of the ppl on the tpss team din give their best for the past 1 month, but God You still blessed us with 3 new brothers into TPSS. Jesus i have nothing to say but everything to give to You.

We have been waiting for this moment of front lines to be broken, when people are ready and the harvest is here. now it has been broken, lets rush in and give our best to God guys! TPSS 13! with God and with effort its possible! after this week we'll go out and celebrate and enjoy! you guys totally rawk! jiayou! =)

camp this time round apart from being blown away by God and once again take up our cross to follow God.

we too had tons and tons and tons of fun!

The most disgusting drink in the camp! With the remains of our food. popcorn, coke, ice, green pepper, honeydew sago, chilli, brocolli, sze quan sauce(jus some sauce).
oh my goodness! this is simply.. ewwww. and mandon lost the zong ji mi ma(some game) and had to drink that as a forfeit! poor him! but before he even drink it, due to unforeseen circumstance, he vomitted and in the end no one tasted that nasty drink haha!

and the last meal of the camp, the delicious looking and yummilicious food haha.

and when the night came... all hell break loose!

we tied ppl up hahahaha! there were 2 victims haha. but man, its crazy hahaha! there's video on it haha. u can make a guess who the victims are tho=P

this is not even the tip of the fun we had during camp haha! the experience, fun and laughter is indescribable. and those who rmb how we tied up ppl would say amen! haha.

haha im just going to blog a short one before i go for project meet.

there's hongkong lc coming up in september, and so i have to ask my dad. which is worrying because the previous time i tried to go thailand for mission trip, i had a really hard time persuading my dad to let me go der. and my dad dun really like me overnighting and stuff, wad more overseas! so on 1 hand i noe God will make a way for me to go, but on the other hand there's still lack of trust in God's plan, wondering wad to do if my dad doesnt allow me to go and such.

and so i wanted to ask my dad face to face(it works better than talking on the phone, seems more sincere i think haha) but he just told me to ask him on the phone and so i ask him if i can go overseas in september, he just ok-ed it easily! i did not even need to persuade him! and so he just ask me where im going, and thats all! this was really alot alot alot alot easier than i thought it would be! and i noe it, this is definitely the work of God! its mad! i really cant imagine my dad just agreed to me going overseas just like that! MY GOD!!

haha anw yeah, i really need to put more trust in God man! God help me to do so as well! and i pray that if u are reading this and are in situations, believe in God's promises and plans that its for the best of you and if God says it will happen, hw can it not happen?! God said GC will be fulfilled and 13 schools for East by end year needs to be fulfilled as well! lets take faith and fulfill it! cya!

man! seriously, if u went for oasis camp with a serious heart and an expectant heart. u would not leave the camp with lesser than just a blast! God totally blasted me off! there are so many things that i really learned from the camp, but one of the things that i really caught was the great commission! MAN!!! you know, i've always known great commission. but i've never felt great commission? God really placed in me a burden for the world! we are really called to be world changers! starting from ourselves! i think alot would agree that its really different when u catch things of God with ur mind and with ur heart.

when u catch what God is trying to say or do with ur heart, u go crazy! because its simply too awesome and once is more than enough. really got blasted big time! and my jaws really dropped when i saw the video of africa! WOAH! its the type of scene that moves and melts peoples' hearts. seeing millions of people worshipping God tgt, with one common audience and one common desire. its madness! and not only that! God moved in most people i believe! this camp is indeed 1 turning point for me! its really time for men in the church to grow !

ED let's show the people out there how God can use focused man! i really like what winstar's msn nick displayed. if a driven man is a force, then a driven man with God is an unstoppable force. then i thought, satan should really start worrying. because on the last day of our oasis camp, 12/06/08. God just prepared more than 600 driven people to serve with Him. its unstoppable force times 600 times over! we're gonna barge into the gates of hell and claim all our inheritance.

and well camp aside. today we have our ED one day camp, and i tell YOU! its more than just a blast for me, its 2 blasts, 3 blasts! God was really among our midst and those who were serious would have benefitted alot from the teachings. but the ultimatium of the day would be the last part of the day whereby we receive many words from God from our leaders etc. if u did sunday's devotion u would noe that we are encouraged to desire for spiritual blessings from our leaders. and the first thing i did was to find yiqin and really get him to pray for me.

God really encouraged me greatly thru him when he spoke to me about smth on elisha's life, that was the first blow and when bing liang prayed for me, he spoke a word that also talked about elisha's life that was a double blow! initially when dennis loh prayed for me, i din quite get the impact but as i thought back, then i realised the power of it, God spoke about the exact same thing.

and as i responded to being used by God, God started using me immediately and that required courage and obedience! u noe its really scary to receive a word from God to speak to others, there are uncertainties and such. bt when u whack according to the Spirit, God jus proves Himself to be real! and when i noe hw God has used me, i was really awed and stunned! thank You God for everything!!

but there was 2 questions of the day which i think if u think about it seriously and do smth about it, your life and how u live it will be different for all eternity.

1) Is God real in your life?
2) If God is real in your life, what are you doing with your life right now?

when i really thought thru those questions, i really felt the lack of time. how we are really racing against time. i pray that i wouldnt waste my time anymore and i've already done smth about it! i asked ppl arnd me to keep watch over me=)

preparing for smth big.

past weeks were the really interesting weeks. funny things happens, studying wrong subject, losing pictures. and there is the workshop for guys on friday! really learnt alot of things=)

but all the happenings were preparation for smth big, the camp. God's preparation for me. things that i need to realise, i realised. things i need to overcome, i am ready to overcome. things that i need to expect great time, im already expecting!

this time our oasis camp is definitely going to move big time in our hearts, bigger than ever. and this is part of my expectation ! big enough to change boys into men of God and girls into women of God!

so if you haven already prepared to enter into our holy grounds this time round, downtown east for camp! start to prepare already! its never too late to start preparing, tho preparing earlier would be good.

how to prepare for camp?
-Take some time to talk to God! (pray ! rmb its talking, means u shud hear from God as well! can read ur bible! and yes please do ur QT today if u haven done so for a long time! please ask the person taking care of u if u dun noe hw haha)

-Take some time to ask God to prepare your heart to be a heart of expectancy! set objectives! for one of the brothers i noe, one of his camp objective is to see healings and miracles! isnt that a really cool one?=D set things you want to achieve out of this camp. maybe to learn how to grow in certain areas(love, patience etc). gogo please set at least 1-3 objectives!

-and lastly, bring all ur toiletries, 5sets of clothing, bible and writing materials, slippers and shoes!

take some time to complete the above if u are going for camp, or rather take as much time as u wan to do for the above if u have the time. with all that done! u are pretty much prepared for the camp! lets dive into the oasis! cya there!=)

man. today smth really devastating happened! i transferred my pictures folder into my hard disk quite some time ago and i didnt really check whether everything is there or not. awhile later i found out and i tot it could be retrieved or smth lidat.

but... i tried to retrieve it today and its all gone.. this is one of the most painful experiences one can have haha. its somehow like losing ur memories, good ones especially. its years of pictures so as to speak. those pictures were accumulated since the previous grads were still in our grp! when there was still the housekeeping team in RC, the pictures of everyone working hard to clean up RC. when the TP grads first had one outing to the jurong ice skating rink. when i went for my thailand mission trip to Hope Nakornpathom! all these pictures of memories are gone just like that! worst still, i don't know why its not there in my folder even! so in the morning i was practically crumbled. totally gone man!

man the last time my photos were deleted cos my com had problems and needs to be reformatted. it had values of years of memories as well, that was even worse. those were the times when the old east D1 were together! the times when i was new believer. really devastated i turn to God and ask Him why haha! i mean seriously! and tt was before i wanted to do my devotions, and so before i did the devotions for today i really prayed that God would speak to me about this haha. its simply heart breaking.

and today's devotions is on getting what you want. i was quite shocked to see it at first, cos i wanted to get back those photos. at first i didnt really get what God was trying to say, i mean those photos were definitely one of the treasures i held dearly in my life ! at first i couldnt get wad God was trying to say but as i continue to meditate on the devotion and the word of God i really prayed God would help me learn something frm this! this is a super painful lesson and it would be such a waste to not get anything out of it!

and at the end, God reminded me of what the treasures of the heavens are! the souls of people and the things God has called us to do. and this qns was posted to me and i simply had nth else to say!

If these treasures of the earth that are held so dearly in our heart and when we lose it we feel such excruciating pain. how much more should the pain be when we see lost souls remain lost. and we see the things God has called us to do, undone! how much more should we feel when ppl leave God! after that, i understood everything God was tryin to bring across this painful experience.

i really pray that God would help me feel the pain He feels when He sees lost souls remain lost, and the things that needs to be done is not yet done. the importance of serving Him. and i pray that if you still do not understand the amount of pain yet, i pray you would understand it soon. not because i want u to suffer! but because when u understand it, u would do things and view things from a different perspective, one that is with urgency.

after all at the end of the day, God does not count what we have achieved in our life. but what God counts is the amount of things that God has called us to do and we have accomplished it. what are some of the things that are not what God has called u to do and yet u r doing it? an what are some of the things that God has called u to do but u still haven done anything to it? i have repented haha! so many things that i've not done and so many thing that i've done but useless! pray tt anyone w/o the urgency to give God their best after readng this post, u can start to feel God's heartbeat more clearly.

haha wanted to blog ytd but there were alot of things tt ran thru my mind so i decided nt too haha.

well today i woke up early to study! yay! haha exam starts at 3.30pm i had around 3 - 4 hours to study for my paper. its not a very tough job cos i know wad to study and focus on. bt really thank God that He helped me to study efficiently and more importantly more than enough time to study=) the subject is WWNK(wired and wireless networking)

so i got off my house quite assured that i did my best and i shud do fine in the exams, when i reached the bus stop(oh i left my house early! yay!) and so i decided to see where my exam will be at( i saved in my phone as draft) and so the message is smth like this( anw i write the message in sequence according to date from earliest to latest)

my exams are only on 3 days, monday, wednesday and friday! and today's wednesday so the subject is? dbas?!! i studied really hard for wwnk so i was really shocked taking in consideration i didnt study for dbas at all! i was thinking maybe i wrote in wrong sequence haha, so i decided to call my classmate up and ask him where is the location for exam( didnt dare to ask him wad subject we are having for exams today haha! it sounds super stupid man!) he said lt 3. so i tot maybe i wrote the location wrongly or smth lidat.

but when i got on the bus i seem to have an impression of my wwnk accouncement on one of the forums with exam on june 6. and i checked my handphone for date, its june 4 haha. so i was quite prepared that i studied for the wrong paper! immediately messaged out to qin and star haha since they are having exams as to keep me in prayer haha! cos this is the craziest thing that can only happen in someone's nightmare!

i was a little scared but quite shocked at first haha, to think i studied for the wrong subject! but i mean what's past is already past, and i cant do much as well. w/o notes on my hand for my current subject, i cant study for it as well, much as i want to! so i committed my whole situation to God, and just went for the exam. nw its after the exam, bt i cant confidently say that i will pass the exam for sure haha!

bt still i really want to thank God that He was with me throughout this whole thing. im sure my mind might have broken down if i didnt have God in my life! and also that now im already super prepared for my next paper haha, i have alot of time to do other things! its almost like exam over to me haha. it may seem that im not worried, but the fact is that, yes im not worried at all! because there is already no point in worrying about what's past and what's already in God's hands isnt it? haha!

im posting on what happened today is so that whoever reads this, the next time u r faced with things that are not in ur control, rmb that whether things are or are not in our control. God has the ultimate control over them! u can be concerned but u shud never be worried! worrying is just a sign of lack of faith in God's control in the situation. so if u happen to be in such a situation, jiayou! and trust in God! =)

how can one not grow haha! its really so enjoyable! ytd we were at airport studying and i took the bus home with denise. i agree with one the things she said, serving God is in fact quite easy when you enjoy it! few days ago i said living a Christian life is not easy, but simple. but do u wan to know how to lead a Christian life that tho meets things that are not easy to handle but u can breeze thru them? do it with God! enjoy every single moment of it! savour the moments of temptations, situations and of course the good times! comes to it again, the power of being able to thank God in every circumstance is soo powerful!

well a few interesting things that happened haha. i think God is really one.. hmm.. interesting God haha! definitely noes how to TEMPT us!! i've heard of a few haha, like dennis loh's first day of fast he received alot of chocolates which he is fasting from if im not wrong haha! oh man. and star as well, u can go read his blog to find out more haha!

i believed most shud have received a few temptation haha, if nt pray that you get them man! so that you can experience God so much more thru prayer and reliance on Him. i've already received mine, and its a big one! fasting is to help keep our focus on God, so dont go doing other things other than ur fast tt makes u misfocused. there wouldnt be much of a point of u fasting if u do that! always rmb why we do the things we do! never lose sight of it, and i pray that i too wouldnt lose sight of it!

all these aside! poly peep's term test has arrived! really praise God for this time round's term test. i was kinda lagging behind in certain subjects, but God helped me to catch up everything in the last week of lessons! thank You God!

God i pray that You would be with all of us in this term test as we continue to serve You! You are our stronghold and strength in this term test, help us to trust in Your strength and not ours because we know we can't make it on our own. Lord be with us! in Jesus' name. amen!
now i feel even more confident in my term tests, since i have such a big God backing me up!

AHHHHHHHHHH! i just posted and its not there! argh.

alrites im cutting my post real short lol! its annoying to type everything again! im sure there must be a few out there that agrees with me hah!

i didnt manage to finish my assignment on time as i overslept. when i was at school, my classmate really helped alot and told me on where to get certain resources which is really useful in doing the assignment, lightens my workload alot! praise God for that! i was able to finish my assignment in less than an hour or maybe less than half an hour! tho certain part not done very well due to my lack of understanding for the subject but all in all thank God for all that has happened!

i discovered this really interesting thing right at the end of the bible. they actually teach us how to read the bible! haha i think im really slow or i may have forgotten that there is actually such a page right at the back! haha! but its really cool what i learnt today during my qt!

to acknowledge God's presence in our life is very important! knowing that all that we are, all the that we have, all that we do or have done involves God. when we fall, God picks us up. when we succeed, God was behind us all the way supporting us. all these details that we often lack to detect in our lives are so important! it not only keeps us humble but at the same time helps us to give God our best as well! because God has never shortchanged us, and so we too do not want to shortchange God!

a Christian life is not easy to live but its simple to live! why? not easy because we are imperfect lah! hahaha. but its simple because all we need to do is to love God with all our heart, serve God with all our heart and make our decisions based on God's word! just 3 things, really simple isnt it? but to live that simple life, its nt easy as well haha! man, we are trying too hard to complicate whats so simple. my aim is to live a really simple and focused life for God! use me as much as You can, God! as i never want to shortchange You anymore!

God's grace is just so sufficient for each and everyone of us. It allows us to cast away our pasts, our troubles and our sorrows. Gives us future, hope and joy!

just one last thing, God's word is just soooo interesting! im amazed myself at how interesting God's word can get hahahaha! God grow my curiousity and expectations when reading Your word! i certainly love it more and more! HAH! whats a Christian that does not read their bible man? they definitely cant follow Christ without their bible! God my prayer today, help me to be a Christian haha!

as usual alot has happened since my last post! i'll really try my best to update as frequently as possible=)

we had our ED1 celebration outing, we went to sentosa and had a really great time there! got to know more about one another and more importantly. more opened up to each other! =) there were people who are usually quiet, that went crazy as well haha!

and there's facing the giants, which had a really good storyline! really portrays on who God is! a friend, a refuge, a source of strength and hope etc. and we had quite a number of visitors as well! praise God even though we did not hit our aim!

we win, we praise God! we lose, we praise God as well!

so with all that happenings, our group has really been growing alot with God's blessings! tpss guys actually tripled within 2 months! from 3 ppl to 9 ppl! and our service attendance has been 15 - 17 for past 1 month if im not wrong! thank God!!

but most importantly, it is really such an amazing feeling to hear from God and know God's word you know? its so interesting! God's word! haha.

smth that struck me, tho not smth uncommon is that.

a symptom of someone whose life is not right with God, not walking with God or doing badly in ur spiritual life.

the inability to see God's blessings.
Jeremiah 17:6a (somewhere around there.)
he will not see prosperity when it comes.

this chapter talks about people who walk right with Godand obey God. and also people who don't walk right with God and disobey God. and the consequences etc.

so when we start to see less of God's blessings in our life, it might actually be a sign for us to take some real good quality time out with God! and get back to God once again! so yeah til the next time! cya!

haha asfor the handphone i lost, no news yet so far! or rather i din managed to gather the news =x will do so asap! but one gd news im amazed is that! i bought that phone at $198 with plan. and now its just $48!! with plan, God's plan is perfect u say? i agree to that fully! because my brother's handphone plan is nw available to upgrade.

really thank God for my brother, alfonso. since young i always get the good stuffs haha, before i came to know God it was by unothordox methods(however its spelled) such as forcing haha! but nw both of us in God and we lend a hlping hand to each other whenever one is in need. God has really improved my family's relationships so much! man, ask me personally and i will explain to u about the differences of my family as far as the north is from the south! hahaha!

another thing is about my job! yes i can finally quit it soon! God has blessed me with no terminations even with the 3 no-shows. thank You God!!

God has blessed with me money as well! the pay that i got, i can finally get alot of things that was quite needed! apart from that setting apart the amount for tithing to God! that was a satisfying amount to me ! yeah! talk about cheerful giving! when we give sincerely to God, it is indeed a joy that is unachievable! not just this but anything that involves God has the very same effect! yeah!

lastly thanking God for ED1! man i seriously think we're the coolest grp around ! agree with me! tts a must! haha no lah. bt really i think under our leader yiqin!(yiqin look at this man. ) when he grown in his leadership, our grp began to move as well! we all realised of hw foolish we have been for past years. and this yr ED1 is going to have breakthroughs all the way! apart from that first steps are really important!! there's alot of things i want to do but i always do not take the first step(or i forget to do so! hw crazy!) bt indeed the first steps once we take them, things will surely follow suit if u have the intention and desire!

today me, qin and hao went shopping arnd bugis area. for clothes and also some gadgets. thank God for today that we managed to get the things we want!! God You seriously seriously rock! God has blessed me with alot of things i really wanted to get since dunno when. thank God for the opportunity and for the money! =D

even if this gets annoying, i'll still say this for eternity! God You ROCK! and so does ED1! let's do it tgt guys! 43 is our aim!

there are several times when ppl arnd me in my cg lose impt stuffs and i tell them to trust in God! in fact yes! this is wad we should do! to trust in God's plan and to thank God in every circumstance!

i just lost my phone ytd haha, to tell u the truth i do feel that its abit wasted and it goes like "aww.. so sad" afterall there are still pictures and recordings that i've nt uploaded into my computer yet! argh!!! but other than that i don't feel much of a pain. there are ppl that showed concerns for me by asking if im ok, but to me what i felt was, what can be wrong?! haha=D not that im stupidly optimistic or what, but this is God's plan that we are talking about. WHAT can go wrong? in fact i believe there are things to learn even from this, expensive experience. and definitely it does not happen for nth that is smth im convicted about.

well to whether i find my phone or not im not sure haha, thats up to God to decide! yeah! but my current situation is that my line has alrd been cancelled so i cant contact the person in any way, the bus interchange has no news of it either. my faith is in God's plan, not in getting back my phone! whether or not i find it, its the best plan!

just as expected from God, nth less but the best. if the person who picks it up doesnt return me my phone, i pray that God can use it to bless that person somehw haha! it would be the best if its someone that hasnt know God, maybe thru my handphone he can get to know God or smth lidat. afterall i have some verses saved as drafts haha. well with all these things happening in my life, i commit all of it into Jesus' mighty hand! amen! heh=)

just smth else to help us realise how blessed we all are=) know ur possessions and stuffs? not having it is normal, but having it is really a blessing! its so easy to lose ur stuffs no matter hw careful you are, but its still with you! and the precise cause of it is because God blessed you with it! u can lose thing randomly and in the most unexpected ways. so seriously! thank God for everything that you already have!!

interesting on what God can do. alot of things i can thank God for !

my studies, i managed to appeal to get into a japanese cds(elective subject) and it affected my only day for cg! 4-6pm for tutorial! but thank God!! the course manager allowed me to change my class and there was exactly one slot on friday! praise God!!

and improving the situation between me and my classmates. i dun really noe hw to balance well between friends and ministry just yet, im still learning. and because i dun noe hw to balance well im just ok with all my classmates and nothing more than that. bt God is slowly guiding me thru this section of helping me improve my balancing relationships skill. and has provided me with situations that i can relate to them even more!

recently almost half of my class started playing private maple servers(which means not asiasoft company de. but is other people host de.) tho its not exactly legal hahahaha. but well its fun! imagine a supposedly 1 exp monster becomes 100 exp. its cheat but at least it does not require much time to lvl haha! really enjoy playing with them these few days, at least i hve things in common to talk with them nw haha! yay!

well its been really fast. but 2nd yr is already over! goodness haha. and soon 3rd year is gonna come. this sem's timetable is not too bad haha! praise God! my classes end at 4pm on tues, wed and thurs. yay! except wed has leadership lec at 6pm. im gonna change my cds as well. wonder hw will my timetable look like after the cds has changed. i pray that it would not be too bad! well, i'll leave tt to God to take care of ! =)

but i look forward to my 2nd semester the most! its block teaching and it looks like i can have timetable that may be better cos i've seen my senior's timetable. it looks not bad haha. and the ultimate thing is there is no exams! yay! haha=D

well all those aside. this also means 1 yr of time which cant be retrieved has gone as well. things that i've not done yet or achieved yet. i have to make sure that somehow or rather i do the things that i NEED to do this year. need to clear out things that are not as impt. there are alot of things i want to do, and i'll tell the rest of it to God haha. i'll make sure i live a different life this year.

of course there are times whereby it isnt not as fun or not as easy to go through with. but, nothing happens for no reason. realised some things that are shocking but are true while i did my qt. haha but i'll need to cfm it with before sharing yeah just incase its not what is really correct.

indeed, the bible is the answer to all life's questions. there's not one question in life that God can't answer. i really look forward to learning from God again. or rather hear from God as much as i can, He gives really interesting and satisfying answers to our life and our problems.=)

Satan stared at his blank screen and screamed every curse word known in the underworld. Jesus just sighed.

well back to the topic, we just shared about our own lives and as we shared. i realise that we are really never alone! not just because God is with us. but everyone else is really with us! thought we fight different battle/struggles in our lives. but its somehow the same 'difficulty'. means everyone needs almost the same amount of effort to go through our struggles and battles. and thats what is same. we are ALL going through our troubles "together". in a way going through tough times tgt. so we're really not alone! and tt was smth that really struck me after spending the nite with them.

and for those going through certain troubles / struggles / need breakthroughs.

tho this is actually from a chapter on how fasting should be done. but it also shows of the life that God wants us to live! a life of loosen chains, untied cords and broken yokes. meaning to the POWER to live life that is able to struggle and break free from struggles is given to us. we are ABLE to do that with God! so jiayou!!

really am brought back to the truth and reality of God's word everytime i hear and sing this song. not to the truth and reality of the world if u realised.

we can sing, in our troubled times.

i dun have much to share at the moment, my mind's quite stucked haha. but i always feel at peace, joyful and comforted everytime i hear this song. because the fact that God is just right by our side. how God's presence is like a parent in our life, we feel at peace and comforted just by being around Him. why wud i trade any other thing than for You to be by my side. God help me to rmb that always!=)

anyway today God really fan-ed up my conviction of living a focused life for Him even more. when we evaluated and discussed with dennis loh on hw our holidays have been spent so far and we rated it. for myself i really want to make full use of every single minute that i have, i haven reached tt yet but im striving towards it. i wasted alot of time at home which is smth tt i nid to improve on. bt when im outside im able to make use of time more wisely which is smth tt is good, i need to keep tt up and use it as wisely as possible.

when only me, alvin, star and qin left. we decided to embark on a positive speech week. im serious about it. i'll try my best to not suan or whatsoever as much as possible haha. im still finding out on if suan-ning is smth tt shud be done. or rather hw it shud be done if its ok. and also of course! being positive in all circumstance, ALL circumstance! our speech affects others alot. EVEN if its just playing, if u keep talkingly negatively about smth or someone, it may pull down a person unknowingly whether you want or not! so i encourage anyone that reads this very post, embark with us on a positive speech week! try ur best to encourage others and in times of troubles or situations. speak positively still, however that optimism shud be based on God's word as much as possible! the effects of being arnd positive speaking is amazing. experience it on ur own.

we(me, star and yiqin) had lunch tgt. and share some thoughts and things we've learnt or experience lately. really had a great time talking to them and learning frm their life. then qin and i went for shepherding. learnt a great lesson of leadership from qin.

no matter where we are, or what we do or how many people we lead. its never about being a leader, its ALWAYS about being CLOSE to God! tts smth tt God has really spoke to me a few wks back then. ur desire shud never be different, it shud always be desiring for God, not desiring to be a leader. really very important truth that we shud get. that i need to keep it in my mind always.

for this whole week, personally my objective for the week would be. to live a focused life for God. personal and ministry wise. it will be super focused on God, tt would be my aim. theres only 3 weeks left. but there is STILL 3 weeks of holidays left. im going to make as much use as possible, i look forward to the end of this week when i continue to a focused man of God for eternity. a God-focused person can change history, what about 3? 5? 10? discipleship is important! im going to get a new generation of men up! of course with everyone else!=)
tts basically my whole day. a whole day of conviction in living a very focused life with God.

God You know me, You've been thru what i've been thru. Help me to keep my focus, help me to constantly place You as my top priority, help me to live out my convictions and hlp me to fan my convictions, help me, help me, help me. i will persevere thru everything with You. its not going to be easy, but it will never be too tough. without You im indeed nothing much. God i present all i am to You, my brokeness, my talents and my time. make and mould me to be all You want me to be. in Jesus' name. Amen!

its never about me, its always about You, Jesus. my most sincere prayer, help me.

giftings!

haha i saw yingjie posting her spiritual giftings on her blog and i was motivated to do my gifting test as well haha. i was supposed to do this alot earlier tho =x due to alot of procrastination i haven done so in around 1 yr i think. unless i rmb-ed wrongly. because tt time i was going for mission trip so had to do the test, have no impression of doing the test since then.

anyway. if u noe me, u can try to guess my giftings.

1) Knowledge
2) Creative Comm. / Encouraging
3) Leadership.

they dun have much points in difference. jus a lacking of 1 point between them haha. i have other gifts that are in the high 30s as well. discernment, prophecy/perceiving, pastor/shepherd and teaching.

those are the gifts that used to be the one of the top few giftings i think. i had gift of serving a lonnngggg time ago. somehw its no longer in the list anymore hahaha.

but after doing the test and reading up on what the gifts are about and what happens if we overuse it and also the ultimate goal of using the gift. like for encouraging would be to apply truths and not create expectations. think what it means would be not to give false hope to ppl by encouraging them with incorrect usage or interpretation of God's word.

was really useful, not jus knowing what gifts we have, but how to use it to its fullest as well. and the purpose of having those gifts, to advance the God's kingdom!

if u haven done spiritual gifting test before or haven done so in a long time (more than 3 months or so i think) start looking for test to do ! whether frm ur leader or how ever u r intending to get it.

God help me to lead and bring my life to the max! this is definitely not the max yet! this can't be! help me to grow closer to You even more. In Jesus' name. amen!

well the reason why i haven posted anything for the past few days.
i fall aslp while trying to post=x so its all under draft and its accumulating like nv before! so i'll try to summarize all the blessings God has blessed me with!

1) Matt 6:33
33But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

-God blessed me and Yiqin with the ivic job. we were able to start by just going for the 2 on job training. and according to gock, its really a miracle! cos its realli rare to have such things. i was telling God to hlp us find favour with our employers so that we can glorify Him right to the end. and He really helped us alot! because we postponed our classroom training to serve God and God blessed us with hlping not needing to attend it at all! PRAISE GOD!!=)

-i chose to do QT with God instead of slping altho tt wud means im missing arnd half an hr or more of slp when i alrd onli have arnd 3hrs to slp haha. and God changed my heart and showed me a new perspective tt saved me frm falling into satan's trap! woah close shave, thanks God!

Seeking God's kingdom first, and God will certainly take care of the rest for us=)

2) Phil 4:13, 1 Thess 5:18
one way to have strength and victory in whatever we do, especially when its not easy. do it with God! that was smth God reminded me. several times i have to face situations esp in work and there are just a couple of customers that irritates ppl right to the very brim. bt God reminded me of how close i should be listening to His voice and His heartbeat every single moment, so that even when im in such a situation im able to get out of the situation God's way and become even stronger.

and also most importantly to really give thanks in all circumstance! thank God that the situations din get worser than it alrd was, and of course hlping us to solve the problem somehow or rather!=)

a victorious life = living a focused life on God and living a life that God wants us to lead!=)

God has really blessed me with strength and energy to last thru the days when i dun really have enough slp haha. its quite taxing nw since we have to adapt to the working hrs and stuff. but God really pulled me thru! i pray the nx time i try to post something i wudnt fall aslp again! haha=x

3) Gal 6:9
9Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

yes its true! if you guys do not noe, the guys grp, ED1. we had a do or shave campaign whereby if we dun hit the amount of ppl we want to share to, we shave our hairs! for the wk before easter, we really evaxed like never before, invite like never before and had our burden and desires increased like never before! our motivation did not just come frm the shaving of hairs!(tho it does affect just a LITTLE.) but really thank God as i could see and feel the burden and desire of the whole ED1 harvestors being increased by God and our hearts changed to have a heartbeat of God as well!

right to the very moment, when we haven't hit our goals on friday. we went down on saturday morning to evax so that we can hit our goal and fulfill our promise to God because we made a pact with God that if we hit 86 ppl in sharing Christ, we commit a tithe of 10%, 8 ppl to Him!

tho we didnt hit our goal, but God really honoured us by blessing us with 6 converts later on that service! praise God!! amazing isnt it? when we really give in our best, and at the end of it u can take a rest and really say. wow that was really my all to God. it really satisfies u on top of everything else and wadsmore God honours that very much!

the result of the fruits we bear are not so much of what we do or how we do it. but more of what we do CONSISTENTLY. which is faithfulness! God i pray that You would grow faithfulness in us so that we can retain our new believers and the not so new non-retained believers! please! in Your name. amen!

God has been really great, and He is great ALL the time! to me, to you and everyone else! if u feel that there hasnt been much movement in ur grp yet despite giving ur best. you need to continue to give ur best! because at the right timing the harvest WILL COME! that IS God's PROMISE!! Gal 6:9. God's word is true, and so are His promises. jiayou to all those who are discouraged! and jiayou to all who are encouraged! lets serve God tgt even stronger and even more! =)

Christianity is never about serving God, its about loving God. and the outflow of it would be everything else that we do. never ever get that wrong.=)

God i pray that at the very end of this holidays and the end of my fast, i would come out as the man You wanted me to become. Help me to rmb that it is always about You and nothing else. help me to grow closer to You everyday! thanks! in Your name i pray, Amen!

power of seeds.

today i listened to this podcast : Seeds by pastor wayne cordeiro.

really re-learned the importance of the words! of how it can plant different seeds into different ppl as we speak, whether carelessly or carefully.

there were 3 seeds being spoken of. the bad seeds, the better seeds and the best seeds.

a story that really struck into my heart of hw bad seeds can harm ppl. definition of bad seeds means words that contain the potential to injure someone. it can be sown by the words of others OR when we have certain enmity with someone. and how some ppl survives after having bad seed sown and how some ppl falls when the bad seed is sown.

the story of Judas Iscariot. of how just over a bottle of perfume, he betrayed Jesus. in Mark 14. the disciples were upset about how the bottle of expensive bottle wasted by anointing Jesus with it, as it can be sold and be given to the poor and so they just kept speaking of that, unhappy with the fact tt it was used on Jesus. until Jesus told them what the woman has really done which is worthy of respect. and 11 disciples understood that and recovered from that upset, the bad seed that was sown, but 1 disciple did not. his name, Judas Iscariot. he did not survive that. and after that incident he went to the chief priests to betray Jesus.

the power to life and death lies in the word we speak, the power to sow a bad seed and we dont know who it will affect as we just speak of it and who will survive it. and i was really strucked by God on how to use my tongue wisely than hw im using it right nw.

better seed is about putting hope into ppl's life, mainly encouraging ppl! shan't talk much about it but this is what the family of God should be about! putting hope into each other's life, so that we would NOT grow weary of doing good. because when a person keeps doing good and ders no affirmation whatsoever, it is natural to grow weary and tired. bt tt doesnt mean u shud seek for affirmation ! haha.

well about this last seed called the best seed. it sows a seed of eternal life. and yes, its about sharing Christ to others! i start to realise the power and importance of sharing Christ. lets say among u shared to 4 ppl, and the 4th ppl u share to receive Christ. that would be a 25% return profit in a sense. so its not really worth it rite? but now God says, for that 4th person that we've shared to, He will multiply the impact more than a 30, 60 or a 100 times!

God promises that in the Mark 4. that as long as it falls on good soil God will multiply that! we don't know who the 4th person would be, we don't where the 4th seed will fall onto but any child of God, we are the 4th seed, the 4th person. i bet the person who sowed a seed into us did not have any idea of how much impact they would make, if u r someone who committed to God, look at the impact u can make, that is what exactly the 4th seed that fell on the good soil can become!

this really encouraged me to share Christ like never before! because i know the fruits of what we are doing, is so much more worth it for the work that we put in.

the amount of power our words hold is just so great, jus a slight difference of how we use our words and it can make a huge difference of impact. man.. i will do my best to cut down on the bad seeds(words tt contain potential to harm) or improve on sowing more better seeds(encouragements) and best seeds(sharing Christ).

God thank You for teaching me on the importance of speech once again. thank=)

i pray tt if u r reading this, God will stir in ur heart the importance of speaking the right way, the way God wants it to be. in Jesus' name. amen=)

welcome back home

last wk was a "welcome back home" week for many! it simply means welcoming the back into the family of God or welcoming them back to the original family that God has planned them to be in, His family.

last wk was a do or shave week for ED1, im super proud to be serving with the harvestors' of ED1! all of us really gave our best, and made that pact with God of hitting our goals or we'll shave our hairs OUT of our personal conviction that we want to share to that amount of ppl for God! you will be able to sense the desire of our hearts for the whole wk as we gave our best and prayed with all our might throughout the wk. always constantly on the lookout to share God's love whenever possible.

and when friday came, most of us have not yet hit our goal. yes on one hand it would mean that we would need to shave our hairs. but we were really discontented that we did not hit our goals that we have promised to God!!! and so some of us went down to evax in the interchange right in the morning before we meet our ppl for breakfast at 10am. some of us reached at 8.30am and some at 9am. but we did our best right til the end! giving our best shot til the very end and not giving up! thank God for those who went down and gave their best!

and the pact we made on 22/03/08( last saturday) were that we commit the goal of sharing to 86 people in total as ED1 to God, and commit a tithe of 10% of 86 which is 8 ppl to God to move and their hearts greatly and to see them come into the family of God! and God indeed honours and bless our promise to Him! tho we did not hit 86 ppl but God blessed us with 6 ppl who received Christ! praise God for tt! there are quite a few incidents of blessings for the whole wk. ask me if u wish to noe more details=) and tts for last last saturday and the whole of its wk.

i bet God is super proud of us as well because we really gave our best for the whole wk!=) im proud to have Jesus as my God! we had a super great time spending time with God while serving Him=) its super great to have done ur best for God=D

comforting presence

i was listening to Gideon: Trusting God Against All Odds by pastor elwin, new hope.

as i listened to the life of Gideon, i was laughing literally. God is mad! He called someone that was already timid to gather people to go against 135,000. and he finally gathered courage to take up God's calling and fixed some stuffs in his life and he gathers 32,000 men to fight the 135,000 which was tho already is not alot, its enough for God's miracle to take place!

or so.. we thought. but God told Gideon that 32,000 men was too big an amount! and so He told Gideon to tell the ppl that if they are fearful its ok to leave. and 22,000 men left. leaving just 10,000 men! and now Gideon turn back to God and told God, "there i've gt 10,000 men nw im ready to go for war".(nt exactly wad Gideon said in judges but roughly is like this.) but God told Gideon again, there was too many people still! and told Gideon to bring the 10,000 to the river and to ask those who kneel down and drink water from the river to go back home.

and guess what was the remaining amount? it was 300! JUST 300 men against 135,000?! it is like around 1 youth service fighting against stadiums of people. tt is around 450:1 ratio. 1man has to kill at least 450 to win the war. and ok nx what Gideon does is that, he gives all his 300 men a trumpet and 1 pitcher with a torch in it. they werent even given a sword! they were supposed to blow the trumpet when Gideon blows the trumpet and they will win the war with God!

ok haha, isnt this just pure madness? this is totally senseless and hilarious. but Gideon trusted God for who God is and obeyed God instead of what the situation is. and what happened? they won the war. when they blew the trumpet, all 135,000 men started killing one another and the remaining men ran away. they won the war just like that! without a single weapon in their hands.

what struck me in the podcast was this sentence. what the midianites(the enemy) ran away from wasnt the 300 men. but what they ran away from was the awe-mighty presence of God!

this is what exactly happens when we choose to take up God's calling and trust it into God's hands! the problems and what we are called to do that seems big, isnt as big anymore when its in God's hands as God settles the hard part for us. the parts where we cant control or handle, in CG08 it would be the heart conditions of our non-believer friends and contacts. God says that when we trust our events and situations onto His hands, He settles all of these for us.

im really amazed at what God has in store for us when we trust God with what we are doing.

and i realised the reason why i really enjoy listening to podcasts. other than being able to learn from the word of God. its cos im able to just put away everything for around 45mins and just sit down and listen to God speak into my life. its so enjoyable to be in God's presence.. so comfortable.. so peaceful.. and really. i would never trade 45mins of doing anything else for that 45mins of being in God's presence.

you should take some time to do the same if you haven tried it before or haven tried it for a long time. to spend some quality and quiet time with God in the midst of a busy day. haha tts hw i spend quality and quiet time when im out of my house, you may have ur own style tho =)

God thank You for ur overflowing love in my life, that at every end of my day i experience and realised the amount of love You have put into my life, the infinite amount of love that is always overflowing in me. God help me to be more like You and help me to take up Your challenges and to face the challenges with You. all this i pray in Your Name. Amen.

true identity

today i listened to Peter : A P.O.W Speaks on Identity by pastor wayne.(P.O.W means prisoner of war just incase u duno)

basically talks about how we should choose we will be, our identity for short. and our real identity would be a child of God! living our lives and being who we are made to be, more like God.

and it talks about 3 steps on sliding away from God and how u can prevent them!=) which is to be firm of our identity in Christ, not denying Christ by being proud of being a Christian and not afraid of ppl knowing tt! at the same time to be constantly pursuing / following God as close as possible!

one thing from the podcast tt realli struck me was, God does not mind using people who have sinned / done things they shouldn't have done. but God is more mindful on using people who are honest! when u've done smth wrong or sinned, there will be times whereby we are ashamed to be a Christian and when someone asks us about it, sometimes we deny being Christians!

which is the part where God wants us to be honest, as its ok to have sinned but as long as you repent and turn back to God, God will welcome you back home as usual! there is this part of the bible which says smth like, when one person turn back to God, the whole heavens rejoice! this is the part where God says, its ok. you can always come back home, to where you belong. and you are forgiven and accepted.

its really great relief to know that we have such a great God. to know that He is like the prodigal son's father that will always welcome us back with great willingness. tho i tink most of us wud do this but still i wanna encourage some of us here to jus welcome some of the lost out der this wk home. if they have backslided before and came back, please welcome them like how God does it. and if they have jus received Christ, welcome them to their new home=)

wanna thank God for providing for alot of us. and specifically for me and yiqin today cos there was supposed to be classroom training tmr but we want to put God's kingdom as priority cos theres cg and street-e so we told them we wouldnt be able to make it and tt would mean that we won't be able to sign the contract and start work we thought.

but at the end of today's training, they approached us to sign the contract! tho it is kinda normal to have sign the contract first before proceeding with other training according to ppl who worked der but still wanna thank God! because we have been scheduled to go for training on saturday nite! and also have signed on the contract with them!!
and throughout the training both of us got trainers who were really patient and friendly haha! yeah! really thank God for providing us with such a good job which is flexible in timing to a certain extent that it won't affect our ministries much! and many more things that are good about this job, that is to advantage for us! and yeah! come back for much more testimonies of how God is blessing us! =)

God thank You for the whole day, for waking me up, for being my source of strength, for being my friend, for being everything i need and everything that You've brought me through today. thanks!=)

back to the relationship.

today i listen to this podcast titled. Missing the Miracles, by pastor elwin also from new hope.

it talks about hw ppl often misses out the real miracle that God is trying to show us. first of all, miracle is something that only God could have brought about or made happen.

and so the story of the 10 lepers(ppl who suffered frm leprosy) were shared in the podcast. bout how only 1 leper out of the 10 went back to thank Jesus in awe of Jesus! and wads more, he was someone that a samaritan and someone that does not know God. compared to the other 9 who knows God.

in the midst of God healing them, the real miracle was supposed to be in the ppl's heart where they realise God's goodness and return to God to build a relationship with Him. and so as you can see only 1 man experienced the true miracle and the other 9 tho they were healed of leprosy but they missed the miracle just by a little bit as they went on to do other things other than finding and building the relationship with God. in luke 17:11-17.

the podcast reminds me of hw we get so caught up with situations and the things that we do that we forget the purpose of our life each day. which is to know God and grow closer to God every single moment! we get caught up of how God has blessed us, but we forget the One who blessed us, missing the miracle of drawing nearer to God thru the miracle.

and hw God yearns to see the change within us rather than just passing thru the miracle. and i've nv realised hw intimate we can get to God during holy comm til i heard the pastor talked about it. holy comm the time whereby we put everything we need to do on hold for that few minutes and concentrate on just communing and getting together with God once again. its just that few minutes but when we appreciate it and make full use of it, its more than just refreshing, its simply great! yeah tts what i've realli learnt and caught today in listening to the podcast.

1st day of job training in mac delivery. ( there is really alot of hope ppl in mac d!!)
it wasnt too bad, in fact was quite fun haha. especially since we've got super patient and friendly mentors haha. me and yiqin had 3 different trainers haha! cos had to change when the current trainer's shift is over. we managed to take some orders today haha! was funny at first lah. forgetting the opening or closing script =x and lots more.

eg. i put my microphone away because me and my trainer were taking turns to take orders. so whn it reached my turn i forgot to put my microphone down and i jus spoke hahaha! yeahh actualli tts basically wad happened briefly.

and oh yeah! we can bring books to read while waiting for calls! yes!! our time can be fruitful even in times of working. praise God!! thank You God for everything and everyday!=)

jus another short post!

okok just another short one before i leave cos its interesting and hilarious haha!

i went to have supper with star(we ate at the other prata shop the usual shop din have enough seats), we ordered nasi pattaya (basically seafood fried rice wrapped in egg ! woo!) and there was prawn. and i was reminded of chua and flo peeling the prawn skin by just putting it into their mouths! soooooooo... hahahaha i went to try it! tgt with star hahahaa! tho i tink it wasnt a very successful attempt but i tried haha!

i was keeping track of time and it was about time for the last bus to come, and then this last 291 bus came turning into the lane before turning again to the bus stop. so when it was near the curve then i started to run off haha! then star was saying tt i wudnt be able to board the bus on time which i din tink much also other than just whack! so i jus ran and halfway at the curve the bus slowed down and stopped! and the doors opened hahahaha!!!! that means the bus driver stopped in the middle of the road for me if u haven yet realise!!

i was super happy hahaha. its like God stopping the bus for me, just for me! hey its not very normal for bus drivers to stop in the middle of the road also lorh!(tho i've seen a few. but tts nt the point!) God blessed me and im happy! haha! yeah tts all. =D

share some things i've learnt on sunday when i listened to the podcast on Abraham and Joseph on Promises and Hope by pastor wayne.

PS: i really enjoy listening to their podcasts! hahaha!

anyway.. there was alot of which in the podcast that struck me. but one ultimate strike by God's word was this.

God's promises are always there for us to claim, but if u notice God's promises definitely requires some effort given from man. its always when you do this, God will bless you with this. as long as you do this, God will bless you with wad you do etc.

Galatians 6:9
Let's not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

IF only we do not give up, then will we be able to reap the harvest that God has promised us! the fruits that God promises us when we do His work.

so sometimes we cling onto God's promises alot which is good! but however, somehow here and der we complain of how God's promises are not coming to past yet. without knowing that we have not fulfilled the human part in God's promise! if you give up halfway, hw will God be able to let you reap the harvest that you are supposed to get from God!

and many other verses as well, such as..
Phil 4:13 i can do all things through Him who strengthens me.
only when you do things with God as your source of strength and reliance THEN will you be able to do all things !

so yeah God's promises are real and is forever there for us to claim! so we need to fulfill OUR part of the promise so God's part of the promise can kick in into our lives!

and today i listened to Noah: The man who believed God
this sermon is about obedience! obedience to God, His Word and what He calls us to do.

Agreeing VS Obeying
agreeing with God is doing the things that God calls us to do that we DON'T mind doing because its convenient for us
but obeying God is doing the things that God calls us to do that we MIND doing because its nt convenient

obedience is sooo important because this is the only way by which God is able to teach us on how to live life to the maximum and to the very full! making thoughts obedient to God's ways and many other ways! basically a whole life that is obedient to God in every possible way! heh yeah. listen to this podcast to find out more=)

lastly today we went to church office to listen to sermon tapes! a whole series of virtual speaking church! really a great time listening to it though the points were being gone thru super quickly tt we have to pause the tape for quite a few times to catch up hhahahaha. and.... we had a super great time being entertained!
well.. now we are equipped with the skills of.. saying what other ppl says is nonsense, gossip, mockery, slander hahaha. (nw tts nonsense LOL!)

senseless talk / nonsense = any talk that does not advance / extend the KOG in any way. even saying Hi to new people can be better compared to talking nonsense! well tts basically what i've been learning haha!

PS: i started typing this post at 10pm+ and its 2am nw haha! i fell aslp and woke up again=x

but once again im really inspired to apply what i've learnt mainly of holding my thoughts captives and making it obedient to Christ and nt just plain holding on of God's promise but fulfilling the human part of it that i need to fulfill. nites everyone! (daily qt is important! random haha! =D)

how to keep our focus right.

i've been thinking on why is it so easy to misfocus for ppl, but focusing is always not easy.

when we don't fill up the voids of our heart with God, we fill it with something else without knowing it conciously. its either God or not God. its pretty obvious eh? so how to keep our focus right? leave no chance of misfocusing, by filling every single void up with God.

the podcast of how Enoch walked with God really inspired me to walk alot more with God. a life that walks with God = investing in relationships between God and us OR relationships between us and people.

then what about enjoying our entertainment? watching tv etc. at first it seemed to me that these are redundant cos it doesnt seem to invest much in relationships especially if you watch it alone. but i later found it to be not true as it could be spend as a time with God and enjoying what we like to do with God.

but of course not doing it excessively. enjoying what we do is a form of rest for ourselves.
if you rest and rest but you never work. that is not resting, thats slacking! go to the ends of the earth you sluggard! hah.. just joking..

so i've managed to get a clear idea of how to live a focused life and a life that is walking with God. what we always hear of from people.

and the basic fundamental of Christianity. Daily QT! without daily QT, certain voids of our heart will certainly be lacking God and will certainly be filled up with something else.

a focused and consistent life with God is one that God will be pleased and use greatly. God draw me so much nearer for the rest of my life! especially during this holidays! God i thank You in advance and all this i pray in Your Name! AMEN!

Walking with God daily = Investing in relationships daily. whether with God or with people
To be focused on God = allowing God into all the areas of our life + spending time with God daily.(QT)

yep, thats what i've got out of my today. i want to live a powerful Christian life starting from today!

there my results i was scared of getting it but it wasnt so bad i guess haha. GPA was pulled up since last sem i had 2.2+ or 2.4+ i forgot. so combined is what i've shown.

haha nah! i was viewing benjamin's blog and saw this. its like his hobby eh? haha. but i made it slightly more convincing cos he always put all As. so yeah that wasnt my real result! only 2 of it inside the picture is real haha.

my real results arent that good tho heh. tho i dun have great results but i really thank God for no supp!

God really knows hw to make us happy haha. tho i din get gd results but God did 2 things to my results that made me really happy and satisfied to a certain extent haha! i had 1 A, 1 B, 2c, 1d+, 1d. this time its no joke! i have every single grade in my result slip from A to D! hahaha. its really funny looking at my grades. praise God for my results! i was really scared on viewing my results online(cos i forgot to register for the sms thingy! =x), i prayed before i view it haha. cos i really din wan to take any supp papers and the situations looked bleak, therefore a high possibility of supp! even looking at results can rely on God. woooo! thank God for tt!

we cant determine how situations or things would happen in life, but we can determine how respond to things God placed into our lives. a thankful heart that follows what God says in 1Thess 5:18? which says to give thanks in all circumstance or otherwise, start blaming God and things arnd u for the lousy results or situations. thankful heart = joyful heart! praise God!=D

since last week's thursday i think i've been listening to at least 1 podcast a day.
the podcast's i listened to.
-Seeing and Hearing Again (Listen to it to know how to revive / to live correctly spiritually)

-Loving out Loud : Turn up the volume (Just as the title says, it teaches YOU how to love God and ppl out LOUD!!! a really good teaching that helped me to change the perspective on how to love people=) and hw doing that can help to change eternities of others)

-Understanding True Love (Think BGR is the right way of loving? listen to this podcast and find out the right way of loving people. and also on how to deal with relationships between genders correctly)

-Enoch: The man who walked with God(Want to know how you can walk with God all the days of ur life like Enoch? who walked everyday with God for 300 YEARS of his life! learn on how to do that frm him=D )

-Teach us to number our days(Learn on how to live a life that is filled with urgency. not with franticness and hurriednes but urgency=) know what it means frm this podcast too. so that your life can be maximized to the max! )

alot has happened for the last weekend especially, motives purified by God, decisions to change my life etc.

something i was reminded of today, change needs to be initiated! it doesnt come by even if u dun do anything. and so on metamorphosis day not only my sheep's life was changed. i've decided to take my life for a change as well!=) im going on a fast til the end of my holidays.

im fasting on
-Any computer games
-Anime
-Manga(comics)

this is the ultimate sacrifice i call it haha. why? because these are the only things i enjoy doing at home! however these are also the only things that hinder me serving and living my life fully for God! so yes with this, i expect my life to change even more by focusing my life back on God and allowing God to be my pilot while i be the co-pilot. it was definitely painful when i decided on this and told some of the brothers that are closer to me.(its like putting a chop and signing a garantee slip with God that i would not break the fast! haha!)

two days of the fast have passed and it seems to be good so far. the reason why i've not blogged is cos.. i played games overtime haha!=x i repent! so i shud be blogging more often and frequently now haha.

share something that i've gained today frm Enoch and how he walked with God. i really salute him man! he actually walked with God everyday for 300 YEARS!! and the era he was living in was not an era that is holy or whatsoever. but an era with wickedness and everything arnd him by right wud corrupt him and cause him to not follow God. but he was one man that followed God and one of the two man that God did not let him experience death. because God was sooooo pleased with how Enoch lived his life!

man. when i heard this podcast, i told myself i must live with God so much more that God wud be that pleased with me as he was with Enoch. that is the ultimate joy man! to see God that pleased!

and smth while waiting for the bus to come so i can reach safra. i was meeting some of the grads to go to the mac delivery office building at safra and i was late. sry guys! then while i was waiting for bus 23(i thought this bus was the only bus to safra frm that bus stop) an old man approached me to ask what bus no. was it and told me to tell him when bus 31 or 67 came. when he asked that question bus 23 was infront of my eyes! the bus that would render me less later than i was already.

but i chose to help that uncle and told the rest to go ahead first. his bus came right after my bus left haha! meaning i have to wait for quite some time for bus 23 jus because his bus came a lil later. but it din bother me much lah haha, went to look at the board and realised that there were alot more buses that goes to the safra bus stop. around 4-5 more buses! man, i must have be blind at that moment to miss those buses when i checked at first. bt anyway praise God man! cos the bus i needed came right after that as well! managed to catch up with the rest.

God reminded of me how we live our life, are we going to live our life with Him, doing what He has called us to do or living our life just doing the things that is not according to what God has called us to do. because i could have chose to board the bus as i was in a hurry instead of helping or blessing the uncle with the help he needs that God has placed me there so i could help him out.

if u r reading this, take some time out to evaluate ur week or how u've used ur life and whether the things u've done are according to God's will. living a life with God = investing either in a relationship between u and God. OR between u and someone else. are u living a life with God?=) im going to change my lifestyle to one that is one more and more according to God's will! yeah jiayou if u r going to do the same=) remember if u dun initiate the change, change will nv come because change never initiates.

yeah! im back!! after a long time of mia-ing frm my blog haha! anw today i've listened to this podcast during my travelling time, Seeing And Hearing Again by pastor wayne!

so basically wanna share some interesting things that i've learnt or heard from the podcast.

-slipping away from God is never intentional(means u dun plan beforehand to slip away frm God or smth lidat.) but drawing back to God is definitely intentional!!! big AMEN to this!

-what we look out for / expect would be what we find! for example you look for faults everywhere u go or u expect problems, then u would definitely find those throughout the whole day! therefore, if you look out / expect for God's work in ur life. u wud definitely be able to see more of God's work! its obvious rite? heh=)

-we really make alot of stupid deals on wanting to be the person who claims their privellege to be correct. e.g. risk the chance of breaking out into a quarrel with a friend, just because we want to be right, whether or not u r in the right or wrong. we sometimes refuse to give way jus for the sake of wanting to be in the right so the cost would a sour-ed friendship or smth lidat. aint worth it at all haha.

-without a heart of thanksgiving that give thanks to God in all circumstance. sooner or later, we won't be able to detect / recognize God's blessings in our lives.

-it doesnt take intentionality to slip out of a heart of gratitude or thanksgiving. but it definitely takes intentionality to get it back!

-when God is silent in our situations, He is not drifting away from us. but He is building something in us called commitment, which can only be built without the "feel-good" stuffs in our life. and its only when we face problems and struggles and decide that we still want to follow God and not give up then God is able to build commitment in us

-commitment: following / doing something that is worth doing even after the emotions and feelings have died down.

i definitely want a heart thats always soft to God's word! never want a hardened heart that will rob so many blessings from me! living everyday knowing God even more is definitely a life i want heh.

prayer realli works more than just wonders! a few of us had gathered at church office for the past few days to pray for our groups and our ppl. and God is definitely moving as we prayed! and there were testimonies of hw God has moved in our grp and our ppl. amazing! when u pray more often, u get even more convicted the next time u pray again. and each time u pray, u grow in faith as well! man! praying has really nth to lose but much to gain! yeah! yep tts all for this post haha. cya!

our ED reunion!
we had this!

we had superb curry chicken too, somehow the picture of it is missing.
we took a group photo as well! but somehow its not in the folder that i received! ahh!! thank God for yihao who bought this! i believe all of us really had a great time tgt! delicious time indeed haha.

my bro, my 3 cousins, me.
this year's cny was really made special because of this, this is the first time in my life im going out with my cousins to the movie haha! and thats mainly because God has called all of us into His family! yep! all 5 of us are childrens of God! its amazing hw God can work in our families! =)

some background history: all of them were in Y-Hope once!! nw one is in t-hope leading ppl, the other 2 are in other churches.
i really long for one day where my chinese new year gathering, would be relatives sharing of testimonies and how good God is! will be done by the grace of God! AMEN!

and we had really cool things going on in ED as well, we managed to hit 3 rows for ED1 for a few wks(not counting last wk). yay!

and there is our cny party!! haha there is too much pictures etc to post about.. so haha look to east blog for more details on the photos =x the wholy party was fun! drama, games etc. was really enjoyable! thank God for denise and her team! yeah!

me and qin decide to just go look for my sheep in the midst of muggng and pass him a postcard and a drink cos tis wk nt able to meet him. but couldnt find him at all cos we were intending to pass him the stuffs before his cca start which is after sch at arnd 1.15pm. cant find on the phone, no replies to sms=x so.. after waiting for awhile we decide to go for lunch first arnd tt area so if anytime he replies we can meet him right away outside his sch. so arnd 2.20pm+ we finished our lunch and were outside his sch again haha. still no replies yet, so we tried to go into the sch but the security guard don't allow.

so we were really left with nth else to try. then qin suggested to wait for 5 more mins and we see how. we agreed on that and went to sit down and wait. i timed the 5 mins, and we were really praying hard that he might appear suddenly or smth lidat. thats what me and qin expected haha, for my sheep to suddenly run out of the sch gate or smth so we can pass him the stuffs. then i looked at the time.. left with 4mins.. 3mins.. 2mins.. 1min.. still nth happened. then we were left about 15 seconds. i started counting down.. 14.. 13.. 12.. 11.. then yiqin's phone suddenly had sms! my sheep replied on wad he was busy with after sch and agreed to meet with us after his class meeting ends! and we managed to pass to him the postcards and drink=) yeah!

right up til the last 10 seconds, i believe both of us still believed God would do smth. indeed God did it! praise God for that! perseverance with God does indeed bring about crazy results. yep=)

revival of east blog!

lead like Jesus

yoyoyo! haha. am reading this book that i got for my birthday(thanks again! haha=P i realli love it alot! haha) its called "Lead Like Jesus" its really a great book and i realli enjoy it alot and learned alot from it alot as well. bt i haven been reading it consistently =x and so i've decided to read it daily, even if its just abit haha so i would learn something new on how to lead Like Jesus. and share about what i learn here as well.

firstly, this book as its title teaches us how to lead(like duh!). Leading ourselves, our people, people around us and our family.

What is a leader?
-Anyone who has certain influences over someone's life.

basically this book teaches us hw to lead everything that i've named above like how Jesus does it.

And now. i shall share abit on what i've learned from reading the book for around 1hour i think.

Personal Leadership
Effective leadership starts from the inside. And so it starts from knowing ourselves better.
Two critical questions asked:
Whose am I?
Some questions you can ask yourself
-Why we do the things we do? And who do we do it for?

Who am I?
Some questions you can ask yourself
-What is our life purpose? or rather what has God called us to do / fulfill? And to what extent do we live a life that God wants us to live the most.

there are alot of examples given in the book on how Jesus or His disciples did personal leadership. shall share just one of them on Paul(previously Saul) met Jesus on the road to Damascus(Acts 9:5) was blinded etc. he knew who Jesus was and decided to follow Him, he knew God's word well as he was educated as a teacher and lawyer in Jerusalem. though he made a commitment but it did not mean that Paul was ready to minister to God's people yet. so he went away to spend time with God and fixing his thoughts with what he experienced of God.

after that Paul was readied and fully surrendered to God and His plans for Paul. Paul was then able to bring God's word alive in his life as he obeyed what he knew of God's word.

And so the practical point for me:
-Take some time out to spend time with God. make sure of my purpose and direction in life, and what God has called me to do. and apply it to the way i do things.
-Be more conscious of how i live my life. evaluating it. so that it would become a life that slowly transforms into the life that God wants me to live.

if today you feel somewhat disconnected from God, maybe you have not been exactly living a life that God wants you to live. one that is lived out based on what God's word says=)

praise God for some new insights He's given to me! as i was one of those that felt somewhat disconnected from God. and without realising it, i wasnt living a life that was fully according to God's will! by God's grace, we will be able to live a life that is more and more according to God's will and word!

Living life according to the way God wants it to be is a choice. and not everytime its an easy choice, the hard ones are the ones that helps us to grow more. and so i want to make more hard decisions for God=) jiayou everyone! in the harvest period, a growth is definitely needed to contain the harvest!

[God is moving like crazy everywhere in East and throughout the world.]

tmr's the end of all project submissions! WOOO! after tmr, things will be abit more relaxing tho sem tests are coming. realli wanna thank God for going through all my projects with me=) i seriously couldnt have survived it without God haha!

and also at the same time how God has grown ED1. its simply amazing, share more on saturday night heh. God is realli moving everywhere!

shant blog much lol. at joseph's house with winstar now, relaxing abit since im onli left with the last project and i can only do it in school tmr! hooray haha!

but realli thank God for the past 3 weeks or so where He grew us intensively in quality and quantity. im realli glad that i have better relationships with my classmates now since im not able to spend much time with them and because i dun wan to play too much computer games as well lol. definitely dun wan to take the risk of wasting too much times on games. well all in all, God is great! and i believe i will realise more and more of His greatness day by day and i pray that anyone who sees this does as well=) cya

PS: we're gonna have freshies coming into tp soon haha! and we're gonna be juniors. gosh LOL. random.

k shall cut my whole ytd happenings before we met up for movie real short.
i managed to do a few projects and my some of my project mates finally "responded" and start to do some project work and they did really great jobs! thank God for them!=) and there was another project that i need to hand in by this week and i also managed to complete most of it. praise God! i may not need to chiong like crazy AGAIN haha! i've been doing that for 3 weeks including this weeks and past 2 weeks. praise God that i get to take it more easily for this very last week!(i have around 2 to 3 more presentations tho, if i dun rmb it wrongly its not very tedious haha. thank God!)

thank God i made it in time for the movie tho i had to stay back in school to do project and in fact i managed to eat dinner with the rest of the group=) yiqin had a china friend with him to join us for the movie. oh we are watching cloverfield for the day. movie had some good parts but a REALLY REALLY lousy ending. some of my friends in the cg even tried to boycott the movie by shouting or saying to ppl randomly. "don't watch cloverfield" while we were on our way to the toilet after the movie lol.

we went to the arcade, i was really tired as the day before i fell aslp while trying to decide on what to do for certain things before my laptop and woke up at 5am+ and slept back. probably din get a gd slp haha. some of us played and some of us jus simply watched. towards the end of it, me and yiqin decided to play RF5(rock fever 5) haha. interesting lol, that certainly perked me up.

after that yiqin and joseph went to follow up on our new brother in Christ! and so only me, newell and the china friend(k he's called gaoteng) left to hang around somewhere partly cos we din wan to go home yet. so we walked around and went passed tm's e-zone(arcade again!) and went to sit in one of these spoiled house of the dead machines. i wanted to jus slack and talk, at the same time know and help to connect gaoteng even more. we talked abit and i decided to show them some of the pictures and videos that our caregroup have taken in the past or recently.

(here comes the part of the day which i really felt that i have lived the most stupidly and felt the really stupid. literally, and im serious.)
there was this middle-aged late 20s to early 30s guy that slowly approached us. the 3 of us thought he wanted smth from us, like trying to see if the machine is working and so we looked at him and asked if he wanted something. and he started to ask if we wanted a fight cos he thinks we were staring at him. and so we explained to him the situation that we wasnt and even said alot of sorries although we werent at fault at all. and he started to keep asking why(fyi: he is not crazy.) and each time sort of more irritated, and to what i see he is like some gangster that is trying to pick on us. and i thought for a moment that he may be aiming my laptop since i was using it to show the pictures and videos.

so i was thinking of hw to get rid of him nicely, so that no one would be harmed in any way at all. then he insisted for us to go outside of tm and "settle the matter" with him. and after awhile i agreed, saying that if only he would let gaoteng go first with me and newell left to talk to him. he promised nt to harm us too so i guess it was ok. he jus said to go down first. upon reaching the ground floor i suggested to talk at mac since it was a public place and he wudnt dare to do anything. but he jus kept walking the other side telling us that there is too many people there. and on the way out i told gaoteng tt i will try to hlp him get out and he will find yiqin and at the same time bring my laptop away.(by this point of time, i was determined to hold onto my laptop no matter what happens as well. for e.g. he trys to snatch it away, i realli was prepared to fight for it haha..) hwever no matter hw mani excuses i tried to make, he jus said it would be only a small talk.

he says that there is a few ways to settle the "problem"
and he asked if we want to have some "backing", i think i was realli quite daring in a sense haha cos i actualli told him that we are not interested, in a nice way tho.
and he gave us a few options
1st: Fight 1 on 1 with him
2nd: Call people down and fight.

i looked at him and told him that these two options would be impossible as well since we would obviously lose out and we dont belong to any gang or of any sort. i told him in the nicest way i could think of, of course haha.

then he called us to let him see our ICs and i was like "shucks, i dunno if i brought my IC along with me." but in any case i would have said i dun have it with me because i noe that he wanted the IC because it shows our addresses at the back. and so i offered him the ez links instead, he took it and took our ICs down saying that he could track where we live from that.(i noe its not possible because i've studied or heard smth bout this before. unless they are police or frm the authorities.) and he told us to sit down somewhere jus a few steps away to talk. and so i asked him if there was any other choice out of it.
he gave us two other choices:
1st: Open a table for him and his "friends"(gang or some sort) to drink and we would pay the bills
2nd: we pay him an "angbao" of $369.

and i looked at him again and told him it is not possible for us to get the money at all. he asked hw much we have on us and HAHA praise God! i just used the money to bless my caregroup members while we bought tidbits for the movies and so i didnt have much money left and i wasnt a single bit worried bout him checking my wallet HAH! i wud rather give to my caregroup members a thousand times over than to give him. think he was disappointed as well haha because we were "poor" haha. and so i somehow bargained with him, and the price dropped til $120. and he said we can give it to him slowly but we had to let him keep our handphones with him as a "garantee" that we would give him the $120.

alot of things happened and then he left with gaoteng's handphone and newell's handphone and returned mine. mainly because mine was jus a basic phone haha! and so i decided to get gaoteng home first and to get newell to my house before we discuss on what to do next. but gaoteng didnt want and in the end we decided on joseph's house. called him and i purposely made us took bus 34 to my house's bus stop then we walk to joseph's house so that if anyone was even following us they wudnt be able to follow us. went to joseph hse and discussed it with yiqin and joseph on what to do.

yiqin asked me a few questions like, "why didnt we call for help even tho we were in a public place" and questions as such as he didnt understand my actions and was curious. and as he asked, i agreed to what could have been done and that the possibility of the guy jus trying to con of us the phone was alot higher. but however, i felt more and more stupid as yiqin asked. i felt worser and worser tho that was not his intention. and the only answer that i could think of that makes the most sense is that, i do not how to handle the situation well though we were calm throughout everything and so i told him that i needed other things else that would help me more on my current situation other than things that would make me feel worse.

we went to the police post and made a report on what happened. and along the way i think yiqin tried to explain that he was jus trying to bring across what could be done if there was even a next time. i noe what he meant, but that jus brought me down even more. i felt even more stupid as time goes by at the thought of why i didnt think of doing the things that he mentioned. by the time we reached the police post, i managed to get myself up on my feet and stopped blaming myself. we waited a long time before it was our turn to make the report and the few things that the police asked was the same or similar to what yiqin has asked, like why didnt we ask for help or call 999 even tho it was 3 of us and there was only 1 of him and that it was even in the public. i was already ok with that being said and was able to accept it much better. thank God!=) everything finished really late and alot of people that stayed around the area ended up coming down as well.

dennis loh, gwen, winstar. i was really glad and assured that i am indeed in the family of God=) that the family of God is indeed a place for us to find support and strength other than God Himself. thank God for you guys, every single pat on my shoulder really helped to strengthen and encourage me=)

after all these serious stuffs, some "jokes" for u all to enjoy.
-me and newell actually tried to counsel that guy because he said he felt bad due to certain things that has happened.
-me and newell heard frm him that wat happened was that he lost his wallet with lots of money inside and had no money to go home. and we offered him solutions like making police reports etc and offered to give him some money to go home!

i really cant believe we did that hahahaha! it was really practically loving our ENEMY LOL!!!

and at the same time i was telling gwen that somehow God really blessed us tho it was such a weird happening. as gaoteng was certainly alot more connected to us throughout all those happenings, he is from bedok green sec, the school we are pioneering AND he already believes in Jesus, just that he is not commited to any churches. his mum is a Christian as well. WOAH=) God really is able to bless us in all circumstance yeah?=)

but as i walked back home, the more i felt bad as i felt that i caused their phones to get stolen. tho yiqin did tell me not to condemn my own and that i did do well in being calm and in leading them. at first before we reached joseph's hse, i did feel that i still did smth right in the midst of the screw up. but i was no longer convinced because i felt that yes, i was leading them. but i caused their handphones to be stolen. and so i struggled with that the whole night and i knew that God is trying to help me learn something from it. but i didnt noe what it was.

and i slept at 3am, set my alarm at 6.35am so that i can wake up and meet my sheep for breakfast! i was realli excited and everything but when i woke up. i saw 8am on my handphone. i realli was upset and at the same time loss on what to do, because i know my sheep hates lateness not to mention that i wasnt even able der! i realli asked God on what to do. sms-ed and explain my situation. Sorry again for nt being able to be der!(if you happen to be reading this.) that it was not i did not want to be der, but i did not even hear my alarm ring! i think my body was realli quite tired out due to lack of good slp recently. praise God that He refreshed me!

not going to mention my today's happening. but one thing that i've finally come to realise and see what God was trying to help me learn today. Was that i dun tink that ytd i've led them with God's wisdom, but more on like what i think could be done. they put their trust in me leading them as well. and yes, i feel stupid still on how i handled the situation, but its no long self-condemnation but by God's grace freed from it=)

what God showed me was, this would be how i would lead God's people if im not going to lead them with God's wisdom. the stupid way of leading people, the way of the world. and one of how the greatest leader Jesus in the world came to be was that although He Himself is God, He still relied on God. and now i realli understand the importance of how leaders of God should stay real close and rely on God.

Definition of leader: its not just about the number, one may lead. As long as you have certain influence over a person's life, you are a leader already.

So this goes out not only to the CLs or whatever Ls there is. but also to ANYONE who has certain influence over someone's life.

God really thank You for opening my eyes to this! Indeed. when the tough comes, the tough just have to get tougher. its either you make it or you break it. yesterday night til today night was a whole period of struggling. i realli went down to the one of the lowest point of my life and came up anew, now reaching another peak of my spiritual life! Thank You also for being the peace within our hearts when we were facing the situation, i definitely would not have been able to be calm withut You=) praise You God. Forever and ever. J'aime Dieu. i will remember this for life.

quite tired to blog about the whole day, but i have really gone through the highs and not-so-high with God the whole day. really interesting events that happened. somehow my life is really filled with weird events that don't normally happen to people haha. God really has unique plans for us. shall share more about today, tmr. God has really shown me alot of things today, especially in the night=)

i really need God more and more in my life. help me.. to reallly become the person You have called me to be in Christ.

God is moving!

i started my morning quite hurriedly, not forgetting to trust God for a bus to get me to school on time. =x

and as far as i remembered from last week, i heard my CMSK(communication and skills) teacher said there was a presentation today. but i had no clear idea on what we had to present on HAHA! hey but i tried my best asking around my classmates and none of those i asked knew as well=_= and so i packed the formal clothes into my bag( dun realli like to wear formal clothes hahaha =P i rather take the trouble of bringing extra clothes lol) and i went off to the bus stop. and as i was sitting down the time was already 11am! (my class is at 11am=x but there is 15mins grace) and while i waited for the bus i realised that i didnt bring my black shoes!

it was realli dumb lol. i brought everything except the shoe presentation and so i was like "God.. how?" haha. a few choices came into mind and the best was! to lend shoes frm my classmates to wear HAHAHA! i got to school on time=) praise God! what was more amazing is that, that lab is actually just revision lab! so i wasnt late for anything haha nor did i miss anything! thank God!

and when i went for CMSK, the teacher said that the presentation is actually around 2 weeks from now haha! praise God! and we presented smth else today which is really impromptu, thank God for blessing me with the ideas haha. think i was able to present not badly. =)

and while chionging projects etc, i actually forgot that i had 1 more project to do until i attended my DBIS lab haha! but thank God my work was according to the schedule so i was able to cope with it! yay! i dun nid to chiong like crazy for 1 subject at least=D

had harvestors' meet after school. i think we are realli a crazy bunch of guys LOL! realli play like siao. however when it comes to praying and the word of God, we have our share of seriousness as well. God really spoke great time to us during the sermon on "Group Intervention", its mainly on different kind of unity. one chapter in the bible that really struck me most on how much unity could do is, Genesis 11. its about the tower of babel, can check it out if you want. The extent of how much people could achieve if they are really united is really crazy. but coupled with involving God in it, i really cant see how project 777 or CG08 cannot be completed if we are united in spirit, mind and soul! (this is not going to be easy tho. but with God nth is impossible!=D)

think God is really moving big time everywhere haha. 34 by end march! definitely coming to pass! 20, 27, 34. we are already reaching our goal of 20! i totally have no idea hw God brought us this far and hw God will bring us to 20 for end jan. God You are realli realli super amazing haha! thank You in advance!

haha i went to just look at my old blog starting from the very first post. my old blog is realli dumb ! argh! like a jokebook. argh!

things i noticed before i received Christ:
-saturdays were ALWAYS sian... .... ... in my posts
-almost 5 days out of a week is SIAN!!
-my life was really meaningless LOL! seriously! my posts dun even last more than 5 lines i think. and that is basically my whole DAY! compare it to my current posts HAHA!
-i am someone that thinks quite negatively about situations
-i definitely went through tough situations on my own(since i dunno God yet, i wasnt able to choose to go thru it with God)
-SOMEONE THAT PLAYS TOO MUCH COMPUTER GAMES!!! my schedule of a normal school day is : 7am - 2pm (sleep in school) 2pm to 6am next morning(play computer, meals and everything is done facing my computer!)
-i have already known that there is a God somewhere and i even prayed to "God" at that moment of time not knowing who God really is.
-i am quite insecure!
-i was never able to overcome struggles.(serious trouble in trying to kick the habit of playing computer games tho i know i need to and i try my best to.)

things i have noticed after i received Christ:
-Saturdays were no longer SIAN! but fun and exciting!
-7 days out of a week is nothing but fun and excitement! tho the word "sian" still comes once a in green moon.
-i think about situations alot more positively!
-my posts are alot more longer filled with so much more fun in serving God!=)
-i no longer go thru tough situations on my own but rather every tough situation with God!=)
-my schedule of a whole day of playing computer games can even be lesser than 2 hrs! sometimes i dun even play games at all!
-i was able to overcome so much more struggles! insecurity, playing computer games, impatience. AND SO MUCH MORE!! and of course this couldnt have been possible with God
-I had hope in my life. I had a purpose in my life, and most importantly, i really LIVED!

these are not even half of what God has changed me in. NOT EVEN HALF!!!
GOD! You have really been really really good to me.

i saw denise's blog about reaching the 100th post and i went to check mine, including my old blog that i limited access to the public(the old and unholy aloy, can ask me for access haha if u want) i have 474 posts! WOAH! haha

i saw yingjie's blog and... I MISS THE DAYS OF LISTENING TO SERMON TAPES IN CHURCH OFFICE!! ahh! just 1 more month+ of school.... and i will be able to live in a wonderland like that. at least for 1 month and 3 weeks.

i saw on mobile tv. japan has a really cool new invention! to remove the smell from the feets and also from their shoes or boots. it is really super cool! ahh!

alot of things is happening for past few weeks and more things are going to happen in the next few weeks. and im starting to feel abit drained and tired, and i was wondering to myself why? just now. simply, my focus wasnt right again! the way i was using my time wasnt right as well! AH UNFRUITFULNESS GET OUT! i really need to plan my time! ok, i will do it on sunday! this cant carry on, i feel super unfruitful and hindered in growing in God more!

i dropped by pei qing's blog, and i saw her post on the o level's period.

16Don't you know that you yourselves are God's temple and that God's Spirit lives in you? 17If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy him; for God's temple is sacred, and you are that temple.

it portrayed to me as a reminder of how much God loves us. so muchhhhh that He made us the temple of God! we must have been really precious to God so much that He made us not only the temple of His! but also a very strict warning that we harm this body that God has placed so MUCH value on! this normally would seem as a very serious verse, which it is. but at that moment it was to me more like the way God is saying it is like, "oiiii, don't you dare to harm your own body k? because I created it, and both you and your body are really important to me. I love you."

was reminded once again of the extent of God's love towards us.=)

and i was talking to one of my friends on msn. and as i talked i realised the importance of a salt and light life that a Christ-follower should lead. every single action we do, good or bad. it will determine the reputation of not just other Christ-followers but most importantly of God's as well. i dun tink i've led exactly the best salt and light life i could have ever lead. chionging projects last minute.. not doing very well for exams.. not going for lectures or tutorials sometimes. but i remember in one of my older posts, i had something like this written down. a new start is available wherever God is available! so today im going to claim by grace and mercy that new start God has promised me! a life that is more salty and shiny!

thank You very very much Jesus! =)

i've survived and im alive!

yeah! haha sry din post ytd about what happened after my last words. i was realli tired haha at the end of the whole day.

when i finished posting at arnd 2am+ i decided to really sleep cos i realli cant get any ideas or anything out of my mind. so i slept at 3am and decided jus to slp for arnd 2hrs and wake up at 5am to complete my projects.

realli thank God! cos i think i snoozed my phone alarm at 5am and normally i would just sleep all the way(which my classmate did! the difference between having God and not having God! wahaha!). God woke me up at 6am instead! i felt really refreshed afterall and worked on my project, tho i was quite panicky i noe God is with me so i did things steadily and managed to complete most of the work for one of the project and around 1/3 of the project for the other. really thank God for helping me to focus on my project.

And so i went to school at arnd 10am, as i went to school i really prayed to God that my friends wun be discouraging haha! that wud the last thing i wud ever need or shud i say i dun nid it a single bit at all haha! and also i was really kinda stressed because as i thought of the day ending i was filled with so much relief haha! cos no matter what i would have already survived and gone through with everything that i need to do!

and so i reached my school.. i saw only one classmate of mine sitting at the concourse and so i approached him, thank God! when i sat with him no discouragements! he asked me bout hw my project and presentation is and directed me to the rest of the class chionging. i felt really comforted and less stressed around him haha. and as i go down to the lab my class is in, they werent the normal "AH! GG!(good game which also means game over for me)". tho they were not encouraging me as well but we were kinda like going thru the same stuffs so it was quite comforting as i was not chionging alone!(tho i noe God is with me but it adds on to the comfort of my heart)

and time came, we had to go for presentation. i accompanied my friend's to a few places and was abit late! but i thank God that i was at the same time able to provide support to my classmates or rather my friends! and when we went into the lecture theatre, weird and funnily as i think back i was no longer nervous or panicky anymore! and thank God that how people is going to go up and present one by one is by volunteering and not by register number! COS IM NUMBER 2! PHEW!! haha! and i was able to prepare for my presentation frm scratch at that point of time! praise God! i prepared quite sufficiently before it was my turn to present. i encouraged some of my friends and at the same time, i think its really in us that when we see things that are wrong we have a desire to change it! cos as the 1st classmate went up to present and came back there wasnt any applause nor any form of support to him! and it seemed that no one had the intention of doing so among the 20+ people that were alot closer to him than me!

and so i started the clapping and cheering for the consequent ones and others followed! i believe that is what i want at the moment of time when i go up to present as well, not just moral support but through supporting with our actions! this is what we know that is right, and so we should uphold it.

anyway haha.. then there wasnt enough time left! earlier on there was 10mins for everyone and my lecturer cut it down to arnd 3-4mins for everyone. and no matter how many slides we have, choose 4 of the slides and present it. sounds bad rite? BUT at the same time he said that those who presented earlier did not present correctly as that was not what he wanted. he told us what he really wanted and so i was able to present better! THANK GOD!!!! i really really thank God that i was able to bless my friends/classmates during that period of time with the gifts that God blessed me with.

and so we went to chiong for our next project tgt with the few of us still left in the lecture theatre. we went to the room that we would have our lessons first. did abit and then teacher came in haha. while the rest of the class came realli late cos they did their project first before coming in into the class, like around 1hour late=_= i approached the teacher at the end of the class and told her i hand in tmr instead haha, tho the marks wud be minused by 10%. but i thank God its 10% and not 20%! cos by right if its more than 1 day it should be 20% i think. and so with that i was relaxed already!

had dmm after that and realli had a great time of learning from the word of God! and also hearing a great testimony of life changing after a shepherd went all out for the sheep. realli encouraging and inspiring=)

but ultimately the whole day i thank God He really sustained me throughout! and i was thinking to God like there wasnt any crazy events that happened like previous times. but i think God really noes whats the best for us! i really enjoy the comfort and peace that God had brought into my heart through the people around me. thank You very much God! oh yah! that was what i prayed for before i got onto the bus to school as well, for God's peace to be within throughout the day. thanks God! for hearing my prayers always and blessing it! -Your child, Aloysius.

here my last words before i enter into another crazy and exciting adventure im going to have with God by far!

Current Situation:
-2 Projects to hand up in 8hrs' and 11hrs' time respectively
-1 Presentation in 8hrs' time

-1 and a half project not done yet.
-Presentation not prepared for.

hahahaha! i was telling God the other day i was walking in the interchange. that He would use me to hit even deeper rockbottoms and use me as a testimony!(but i certainly did not plan to have these situations haha!). God is really faithful hahaha.

please pray for me to keep my focus on God entirely as well cos i dunno how God is gonna work as well hahaha! =P

every prayer a powerful weapon. its only when we pray and claim God's promises then can we experience God like never before!

God i pray that i would keep my focus on You entirely for especially the next few hours, be with me and use me to glorify You and prove to people around me Your existence! if ders anyone that You want to use, use me! i will be Your living testimony. Lord i commit all i have and my next few crucial hours into Your mighty hands! AMEN!!

its now all in Your hands, whether or not my situation seemed possible or impossible.=)

SUPER EXCITING DAY! WOOO!

well well im back! shan't blog much bout previous days. but one thing for sure, a plan that contains faith has been planned out! WE WILL DO OUR BEST! project 777.

and back to my exciting adventure with God today. i was feeling kinda sick ytd so slept earlier than i shud be, cos i was supposed to do my java assignment. and today i was very tired when i woke up haha.. i was in the "can i sleep more" mode.. but i noe i cant cos 1st class in the morning is tutorial haha. so i woke up and check my phone for the time, woke up on time and i saw something additional! like a bonus from God! i saw this sms from my careperson(a lecturer in charge of our class while we are in TP). he informed us that our morning tutorial and 11am lecture was cancelled by our tutor!! and that means my next lesson would be at 2pm! WEEE! and so i managed to get more sleep! praise God! haha!

i woke up at 11am+ to chiong my java assignment, thank God for refreshing me. my mind was alot clearer compared to last nite! i decided to just go school and ask for help. cos i was stucked at certain places. when i reached i saw my friends and the few things they said to me when they saw i had the last part of the assignment not done, wasnt any encouragement! it is something like "gg liao"(something like, you're finished!) haha. but wahaha! that wud never bring me down! i noe how God can provide for me! i've experienced it first hand myself!

thank God i had this classmate, he helped me out alot on my assignment! at the same time almost everyone who saw me and know im left with the last part of my assignment said the same things as my previous classmates did. but my focus wasnt on what others said, but on what God can do instead! so i just trusted God and did the assignment as much as i could to my best. haha but at the same time, what they said was not without basis cos im left with super little time to finish and they themselves have finished the assignment so they know hw long it takes to finish it.

i was supposed to go for class already! but project still not done. i told the teacher i can onli hand in late, but i told her its ok to minus the marks if she needs to.(but of cos i dun wan to lose marks!) lessons continued. and halfway through the class my friend asked me if i brought along my TP portfolio which i needed to show the teacher to pass my APEL 2! and if you noe its realli stupid to get retained jus because you failed APEL! its like getting retained for failing CME. haha get wad i mean now? =x

i prayed that the class wud end earlier so that i can chiong home and take the portfolio, cos we're not just handing up the portfolio for submission, my friend told me that we wud be showing it to our course manager! and we cant be late for APEL 2 this time, cos our course manager would be talking to us! but the class not onli did not end earli. it ended right on time! 4pm.. i had to be at the lecture theatre by this time. but i decided to just trust in God and quickly rushed home to get my portfolio and go back for APEL2. can ask me personally about what happened to my assignment if you want to know, its a testimony as well! but nt convenient to share haha..=P

i prayed for the bus to come really soon cos im in a super big rush, and when my eyes opened i saw bus 291 coming in! PRAISE GOD!! while i was running home frm the bus stop,
God just reminded me about how we should remember to breathe properly while in a rush! cos i was in a rush, i did not breathe the right way while running(there shud be a rhythm in running so u dun get breathless easily) and i was out of breathe when i reached my blk.

the same way there will be times where the deadlines where we set our goals for our groups are drawing near and we start to "rush" more to hit the number of souls we've aimed for. we should not forget to breathe properly(to meet God, do life with God and take in God's word daily.)

i was giggling to myself haha! i was enjoying the whole process tho i was in "critical danger" of failing APEL 2 haha. and when i reached home. WOAH ultimate shock of the day! i dun have my keys with me! then i rmbed in the morning my dad helped me lock the door and i think he din return it back to me. MAN! im already late for the talk with the course manager, so every minutes count and then i realise i dun have the keys to get in and get the portfolio? and also my handphone is spoiled and i cant call anyone for help?

i faced this situation before, and all i did was wait for my parents to get home at 6pm.(this wud be 2hrs about the talk have started! i dun have time for 2hrs!=x) i looked around and YAY! my neighbour left alot of umbrellas outside their house! and i rmb that just behind the doors, i had 1 set of keys. i've tried to get it the other time but i failed. the onli way to get the keys which is way at the other end is to use something long to make it fall on the ground from the opening of the door, the direct opposite end of wer my keys are. and i duno which keys will drop. i jus hooked and hooked and a set of keys drop. i dragged the keys to my side after MUCH effort. thank God it was the set of spare keys!!! cos there is only 1 correct set of spare keys among others. and at this point i laughed again haha! cos its like im going on mission impossible with God! LOL!

i faster rushed in to find the portfolio! thank God i managed to find it fast, just as i prayed for while i ran frm bus stop to home, i also prayed that my course manager maybe wudnt meet us today bt it sounds abit impossible for them since they have tight schedules to follow(forget to mention jus nw). while i was waiting at my house's bus stop, i prayed that i would get to school by 4.30pm or earlier than that! and guess what! I REACHED THE LECTURE THEATRE AT 4.30pm ! WOAH! haha! i looked for the lecture theatre and i saw no one inside! i was really shocked.

tt jus means everything has ended without me. i sms-ed one of my classmates to find out where they are cos i need to get my laptop frm my friend tt held on to my laptop for me while i rushed home. and someone called me but the number is not saved and i cant pick up calls!(phone is spoiled!) and so i was jus randomly walking around, prayed that God would allow me to meet someone that cud hlp me! and as i walked i saw one of my classmates! HALLELUJAH! tho tp is not small, its not easy to meet someone you noe easily as well! i asked him for the location of my friend and i went to look for him. got my laptop back and he told me that the course manager didnt meet us in the end! THANK GOD!! WOOO! and also that we were only required to show our portfolios to our careperson and thats all.

so i went up to the staff offices to look for my teacher and guess what? he wasnt der!!! and then i was bout to go down by the lift to find my classmates and ask them to call my careperson for me. and guess what? when the lift came, my careperson walked out of it! I WAS AMAZED BY HOW GOD CAN WORK!! that was basically the most exciting part of my whole day. and i was super comforted by my careperson cos when i wanted to show him my portfolio, he told me der was no need to cos he alrd noes i chiong-ed for it. man! its like God telling me its ok, i've done my best.. thanks alot God!

as i looked back, i realised one point of why i was able to blessed by God so crazily! i kept on praying and praying whenever new problems come up, instead of being pushed down on the ground by satan and staying down. by grumbling and complaining how bad my situation is. and i also realli enjoyed the whole process of it. give thanks to God in all circumstance? yeah! yep.

and for the following weeks i wud most likely be bombed by projects, i have arnd 5assignments now, with today's finished. God helped me to go through all of it with You! nothing beats experiencing You! i wud rather be in trouble so i can experience You haha! sounds crazy, but its true haha! WEEEE! tp grads! jiayou for your projects!

i noe alot of us are chionging our projects! i pray that when projects end the first thing you all can remember is how you experience God through every single project! Continued birthday celebrations Part 3 - Saturday

haha God realli blessed my birthday with lots of happenings! i broke it down to 3 posts LOL.(two previous posts and this current one). if only i cud write these much for my reports etc haha! =P

i was supposed to wake up at 9am and ask my brother to help me with editting the "la pi xiao xin" video i found on youtube. i lazed.. thank God i din laze in my bed for very long time(it happens quite often if i laze.) i woke up at arnd 9.30am instead! showed yingjie the video and discussed on which parts to have. then i asked my brother to help me finish up the video. i had a y-comm meeting 11am at isle cafe, bt i woke up late and took quite sometime to finish up the video and prepare. by the time i got on the mrt train. it was arnd 11.10am! ahhh! felt realli super bad since the meeting would only last 1hour and looking at hw late i am, i wud onli go for the meeting for 15mins. oh i met wilfred at the platform and went with him. i read abit of the "Lead like Jesus" book, that i got as a gift. its realli nice tho i onli had time to read abit!

i rushed to isle cafe quickly and when i got der, they told me i had to do a forfeit since i was super late! i was like "can!" i was prepared to do any forfeit haha.. and then they told me to take off my specs and close my eyes while they think of the forfeit. and so i did, but i felt weird to close my eyes while they think of the forfeit as in who noes when they will manage to think of the forfeit rite? so i opened my eyes and wanted to suggest to my ministry leader that maybe they think finish forfeit ler then i close back my eyes. and i saw her preparing to take out the cake hahaha! din expect a celebration so i was realli surprised! thanks alot! and they made a card for me. it is realli veri veri nice! the cake is super nice as well! thanks alot!

we went back to what we were gathered for haha. and we shared testimonies of our district. and after that my ministry leader explained to us what Regional Correspondents of the districts realli serve as. and i was strucked by what she said cos one of the purpose is to encourage the congregation and everywhere around the world where there are hope churches. i was realli shocked tho i already knew but it onli struck me hard jus then. realli thank God for entrusting me with such a role to serve Him! to represent East in encouraging other districts and congregations. and its something that has to do with encouraging !

i joined the others in nexus. even the service was special for me! since my new believers and people under me all came for service! yeah! God spoke greatly to me and reminded me about having great expectations to receive a word from Him during services. and i saw a few problems with my brother and my sheep during the teaching. i sensed a wrong spirit frm my brother and God reminded me to apply what i learned during the sermons at church office. being engaged/ involved with people. talk to them about the problems and solve it with them and not just stop at talking bout the problems. and so i decided to ask yiqin after service with me to talk to the both of them

so after that during the lunch at S11 when we were about to go and buy food. my brother and joseph started pushing each other. then me, yiqin and star intervened and stop the both of them and dragged them aside to talk individually. i spoke to joseph to know about what happened and just advise him using what he has learnt during the sermon at church office. forgiving. after awhile we went up to starhub centre rooftop to settle things between him and my brother, yiqin was already there. then we waited for winstar to bring my brother to the rooftop. and when they reached and sat down. we were about to start talking about it and then..
the whole caregroup appeared and sang birthday song for us! I SHOCKED! me and star was pranked throughout! starting from even before the service. cos yiqin told me on friday night that when they were having lunch(me and star was at the project room) my brother and joseph had conflicts and problems with each other.

i completely fell into it!=_= nice one guys. looks like after a failed attempt last year, you guys grew this year haha! thanks for the cards, cake and the planning of the whole celebration! and as they affirmed us, i realised. the one who pranked me most was God!!!!!!!!!!! normally i dont fall for pranks haha if u noe me. rmb during the service? i actualli sensed a wrong spirit from my brother?! and God reminded me to apply what i learn?! if not for that, maybe i wudnt have fell completely into the prank.

Guys u are so blessed this time round to have God on ur side! grrrr. but haha tis was realli the best for me. i realli enjoyed the celebration! hahaha. tho i felt realli dumb! HAHAHAHA! niceee oneeee! this should be the standard for birthday celebrations. i truly enjoyed it=)

we ended quite late. arnd 8pm+, went to centrepoint mac as some of them wanted to eat. after eating most of them left, leaving a few of us behind and we went to rochor to eat! had a great time der, we waited for chua and liang cos they had CLM earlier on. after eating , i accompanied yiqin to esplanade to retrieve his file that was left at the bar haha! the file has important stuffs inside, project etc. when we reached, we were joking about his file being thrown away or no longer der. and i watched yiqin approached the waiter at the counter to ask about his file, and i saw the waited searching for it. but he couldnt find the file! hahaha! yiqin was in shock after that haha. til the manager i think asked what was happening and then "gave" yiqin hope cos he seemed to have another place to keep lost & found items haha. this time he went in and came out with his file! i bet yiqin was super relieved haha!

bing liang and star called qin after that to ask us if we want to watch late-night movie. (it was already 11pm+ by then), i okay-ed it cos i wanted to spend the time with star as well before his birthday. yiqin had to go home to do project, but he travelled back to cathay with me. thanks!=) i sent him to the traffic light and saw alvin and chua walking over. so the 3 of us went to find star and liang at cathay. sat down and talked awhile then liang said qin was coming over. i went "huh?" cos he told me he had to finish his projects. then liang said qin called him and asked him "wo ying gai lai mah ah?"(in a very confused and duno what to do tone)[ in chinese if he shud come.] hahahahaha! it was super hilarious if you noe qin enough u wud get what i mean haha!

we decided to watch body 19 at 2.15am! we have 2 hrs to use before the movie LOL! the 6 of us share and updates bout ourselves. we all had a freaking good time laughing hahahaha! mostly at the stupid things qin has done recently.( qin : be secure haha! its a gift to be able to be a joke, not everyone has it =x) then we went to 7-11 at plaza sing to buy food and drinks to eat in the cinema haha. and when we returned.. we saw a 7-11 store RIGHT AT the other entrance of cathay! WE FELT SUPER STUPID!! we didnt noe that there is 7-11 store as well! and we walked the distance for nth! argh! but we had fun lah so haha din matter much =P.

body 19 is a freaking good show with a very nice twist. the director is also the director of shutter and alone. watch it for urself=) quite scary at certain points haha. its a horror show.

we had even more fun after the show! scaring someone among us haha! shan't say who it is. cos he had "childhood trauma" of horror shows haha thats why. and the reactions that came out from him were realli funny haha.

this year's birthday celebration is realli special! God was involved in everything!(other years as well. but this year i realised hw God was involved realli.) i spent the 1st few moments of my birthday and last few moments of my birthday with people who serve and commit to God with their lives! i was pranked so crazily like never before in my life! it feels like my birthday celebrations lasted realli long with so many tings happening. and all this is definitely better than parachuting or whatsoever that can be gotten with money! time spent with close friends and ppl who follow after that God crazily and God Himself IS SO MUCH BETTER! i really enjoyed every single moment that God has planned for my birthday!

My birthday wishes for tis year:
-for my parents to know God!
-to know God alot more myself and experience Him like never before, to the point of being realli spiritually sensitive to God's movement and words. more than a friend, more than a close friend but my bestest best friend!
-for the guys' group to have men and warriors of God that bases their life on the word of God, joining the current group of men and warriors of East D that has been called to lead and make differences!
-and lastly, for CG08 to be completed!!!

God! thanks for the birthday celebration that You and Your people that has planned for me. thank You for using me to serve and bless Your people as well! God grow me much much more this year and use me much much more as well! AMEN!

Continued birthday celebrations! Part 2- Night time

for the activities that happened in the morning and afternoon. the post is below tis post.

[God is really faithful to grow me, even on my birthday. haha thanks!]
i went home to prepare for the family dinner and also meeting a few of the tp grads and grads to go out. i slept awhile while waiting for my brother to come back so we can go out for dinner tgt. but he was rather late cos they were planning for me and star's birthday. thank God for you guys for putting alot of efforts into planning it!(they took more than 3hours for the planning and even more hours for the preparation!) but i was quite frustrated and abit upset since that wud mean tht i would be even later to meet the people. cos meeting at clarke mrt station 8.30pm. my family dinner supposed to start at 7.30pm. so cfm wud be late. but my bro came home at around 8pm+(oh i din noe they were planning me and star's birthday til my brother told me so). so i calculated and i most likely 9pm+ then can start leaving tampines haha. so i jus asked him with abit of frustration to why he was late, and then he explained. tho i understood, but still i felt abit upset to why he din manage to come home earlier for the family dinner which i think its the 1st in years that we are going out to eat dinner as a family casually. and also i was going to be later thanks to him being late.

we went for our family dinner, i had a really great time. i enjoy having dinners like that and i was super touched when my dad initiated to bring our family out for dinner jus for my birthday(we don't even have this for normal days and for maybe years!)

i went off after that the dinner at around 9.30pm lidat i think.i knew that what i felt wasnt rite and God reminded me bout being forgiving. what i learnt while i was at church office.

3 Steps to forgiving
-1)Identify the problem/main trigger that caused the problem
-2)Identify with the person about the problem.
-3)you forgiveso i went thru the steps that i learnt.
and at the 2nd step i was like ok, im ready to forgive! bt thn my brother shud still come home earlier!(with still abit of bitterness in it) and God poked me bout it and reminded what forgiveness realli is.

Forgiveness is about
-Settling our heart with God, settling the bitterness and cancelling the "debt"[wad we think they've done wrong to us] people owe us.
-Focusing that we are not forgiving just because for the sake of it, but because of what God has done for us and His command to do it onto others as well!

so God's final questions to me. dare i ever say to God that i have NEVER been late for any meetings / shepherdings that were also important? my answer was, no. did God still forgive me? yes.so do i still think im in the place to not forgive people bout being late? no!
with that i was set free from even that little bit of bitterness! praise God!

and when i got onto the bus for my house to the station, my new believer messaged me and asked me about the time to meet at small mac for service!!! i was super happy!! cos he hasnt been able to come for services due to several reasons. weeeeeeee!

and throughout my whole trip to clarke, was moments of enjoyable time alone with God. i did my QT on the MRT, woahhh damn cool haha. tho i hesitated for quite awhile after being prompted by God to do so. super shiokkk! haha!

i reached clarke, thanks for the directions! tho i kinda gt abit lost in getting out of the building haha cos there were alot of entrances! thank God i managed to get out and survive lol! i managed to find the others as well!(there was around 9 of us there) so we walked around to find a place to settle down in, almost every place we went to was full haha. so we walked from clarke to the boat quay cos there was a place that was recommended(i forgot who recommended it haha) bt the place was full as well! haha! so we decided to jus go esplanade in the end.[part of the reason is cos there is air-con der! some of them were realli crazy haha singing and disturbing each other in the crowd hahaha.

at esplanade we wanted to go in this place, Harry's bar. but it was full house as well. so we searched for other places to slack and enjoy in. like chocs and some other places in esplanade. then we gathered and discussed wer we wanted to go. after quite sometime we decided ok, go makansutra i think. when we walked down, star went in Harry's to ask again if der were space since makansutra is no longer in the air-con zone and is alot noisier than Harry's so cant talk. and praise God! there was enough space for all of us! and so went in haha. ok to clarify it, onli me star ordered drinks with a little alcohol inside it.[its realli just very little haha. not much difference with the normal drinks(fruit cocktails etc) ] we played murderer haha! was realli fun! and thanks peeps! for the book you all got me. realli like the book and i wanted a book to read as well![i realised i actualli enjoy reading books while travelling alone! at least i noe im not wasting time away haha!] we stayed der for awhile and went out.

we took some pictures before we left esplanade. cos we decided to hang arnd for awhile more, so we decided to go to an area by the riverside.
gock had chocolate cigarettes(chocolates that looked like cigarettes) so we played arnd with it by taking pictures haha.

we went to 7-eleven to get some food and drinks before we settle down at the riverside. we walked quite abit hha. on the way to the river, they asked me to think of an anime/cartoon character to affirm winstar and celebrate his birthday cos his birthday is approaching in arnd.. hmm less than 24hrs. so when we reached turns out they had things to say for both me and star. veri interesting cartoon characters and descriptions they have haha. i had some weird characters. the weirdest was superman with hands crossed[like ultraman] haha=x and the most popular choice was garfield. argh. haha and yiqin is said to be oddi[duno hw its spelled. its the dog that always kena bully by garfield de haha].

they prayed for us and 1 of our birthday wishes. thanks alot! realli appreciate the affirmations!=) we took the nightbus home after that. it was quite late haha.

i reached home at around 4am+. we still had troubles with finding the video with the family feel cos we don't have any idea of which movies or videos we can find family-feel in it. we thought of a few ideas on the bus bt we don't know wer the family-feel scenes wer. movies/cartoons like "la pi xiao xin", simpsons and rugrats. i know i cant sleep til i find the videos because i don't think i wud get up in the time to search for the videos haha. so i just prayed that God wud help me in finding the videos, i watched 2 "la pi xiao xin" videos in vain since there werent any scenes with family-feel in it! then i browsed thru the pages and finalli found one episode that has family-feel in it! PRAISE GOD!! i had my fill of sleep after that!

continued birthday celebrations! Part 1 - Morning and afternoon

PS: to those whom i told bout the colours of the words in my post. actualli its not realli always the same pattern, it may vary cos of the post being too long haha.

last friday morning i was supposed to meet joseph for breakfast at 8am in tp. and after breakfast we would meet 10am at tp bus stop with the other grads and go church office tgt and listen to sermon tapes and so i set alarm at 7am. i was reallyyy happy when i woke up when i heard the alarm ring. and i din laze in bed much. however when i saw the time, it was 9.45am!! it means that i didnt hear the previous alarms ringing! cos its handphone alarm so it will ring once in awhile again if the alarm has not been off-ed.

when i woke up i saw 2 missed calls, one frm yanyu and the other frm yingjie. then i guessed newell and joseph overslept as well! [i slept quite late. they slept even later than me.] so i called them and we rushed down to church office haha. tho we were late, i thank God we weren't later! when we reached the sermon tape jus started, so we were pretty much in time for the sermon! praise God haha!

i loveee listening to sermons! its simply great to listen to what God says about certain tings in life. we learned about forgiveness, being engaged[or involved] with people and encouraging people! learned a few practical points to apply in my daily lifestyle. andy stanley's sermons are quite nice as well. its able to catch people's attention. his way of preaching is unique and interesting haha.

we had lunch and played "zong ji mi ma"[some number-guessing game], loser had the ate chicken skins[cos quite oily] tgt with garlic sauce, chilli sauce and the chicken oil in the plate. thank God i din eat any haha!

we went to tp after listening to tapes. some went for the open house. while some of us went to tp's library project room to prepare or help to prepare for the district meet. i helped to find the videos and we needed 2 videos, one that has a family feel to it and the other that shows an army being united. then i rmb that 300[a super duper nice war show!] had 1 scene that was realli nice and united, the part where the 1st scene of fighting between 300 spartans and more than a million of persians begin. praise God! i was finding on youtube for the movie 300 and see if i can cut off the scenes. its realli God-blessed! not only did i find the movie, i found the exact scene that i wanted! someone already cut the scene out and uploaded it! praise God!!! wooo!
but we had troubles with finding the family-feel video tho. we prayed hard that we would find it for the district meet haha.

special 18th.

as my 18th birthday was reaching. i was telling God that how normal my birthday would be, cos i hear frm ppl that u noe 18th birthday those who has more capable financially they wud have something realli interesting to commemorate their 18th birthday? and i think thru and hmm.. my household aint exactly one tt has alot of money haha, so i thought it would be a normal one with just simple celebrations and such.

but.. i didnt realise how it could be made special by God til tonight..

i din join the rest for dinner after caregroup cos i was gonna eat at home. til winstar jus called me and initiated to treat me to a movie and also countdown for my birthday. thanks star =) realli appreciated that alot! =)

and i went to find him at east link mall with newell and joseph. and so we went to check the cinemas after they finished eating and also watching the golden road(9am chn 8 show). it was onli 10.30pm then, but the cinemas were closed! as in the ticket booths were no longer opened for sale of tickets. we were quite diao-ed by it hahaha since that was our main purpose of the night. then we went to eat prata tgt instead, we had a great time jus talking. thanks guys! i enjoyed talking to u guys!

after we ate finished, we sent newell off before he misses the last bus. and intended to hang arnd abit more so we decided to go back to the prata shop where me and star saw our sec sch friends leaving the prata shop. joseph left us shortly after we reached the prata shop, thanks for staying til so late!=) we realli talked quite alot and then me and star saw denise walking on the pavement opposite us.

and so i jus approached her haha! i think i scared her abit tho hahaha. she was the first one to wish me happy birthday then haha, be honoured! haha =P then there were smses and calls. but my current phone doesnt allow me to pick up calls haha! cos its kinda spoiled, i cant hear what people are saying. and so i asked them to call denise's phone instead and slowly there was a conference of 5 ppl. i thought the tp girls were going to discuss serious stuff or smth lidat hahaha cos they conferenced on denise's handphone

and so they were the first group of ppl that sang me a birthday song =) thanks!realli realli appreciate it alot =) and after the conference ended, denise was telling me that they were planning to conference on my handphone and sing me the birthday song haha. but rmb? my handphone cant pick up calls haha. God planned it so nicely, that i would meet denise and also her handphone is abit spoiled i think, cant hear clearly. but when the song was being sung it was quite clear haha. thank God! that He realli planned it nicely. also thanks to all u dudettes that made the effort!=)

and when i went back to find star and my sec sch friends, God made my birthday even more special with my friend hahaha. cos my friend was waving to some of the friends opp us cos they were leaving by bus. then a taxi happened to pass by, and the taxi stopped. we were thinking is it waiting for my friend to get on the cab? was realli funny and dumb haha! especially after awhile we confirmed that it was waiting for my friend cos it left without anyone getting onto it. praise God for this added event haha!

then we parted ways with them haha. so star and i went to sit at the table under the void deck jus to chat. then he suggested to buy a small bottle of wine to drink tgt while we chat haha! since im already 18 =D so we went to 7-eleven to get it and also a bottle of coke lar to make it more diluted haha and not so bitter =x and we went to my block's playground and jus chatted. i onli drank 1 cup tho hahahaha =x quite bitter ah the aftertaste so erm.. haha i din drink much. =x which means star drank the rest haha! i realli had a great time catching up with him as we jus shared about our life and things happening in it. something i realli enjoy doing with friends=) star thanks alot=)

hey everyone who sent me a sms, thanks! you contributed to making the start of my birthday special.

all the far east dudettes in tp grads! haha realli thanks alot! you dudettes made my birthday realli special tho it was just singing and simple greeting. thank God for u all!

and also star, joseph and newell. thanks for spending the time eating together at a late time and jus talking. i realli enjoy times like this=) and esp star since it has realli been sometime since we knew each other and a long time since we caught up. realli glad i have known such a brother like you=)

i thank God for placing all of you in my life and im realli glad to know you all.

this year's birthday celebration is really a special one, tho i do not have expensive activities like parachuting or wadsoever. but i have friends around me that i wudnt mind giving my life to. friends that no money can get.

God i thank You for planning my birthday celebration for me. You.. realli have been there for me even before i knew it. i love You God=) God i really thank You for placing me in this wonderful family of Yours.

as You are mine. i am Yours Lord. i had a great year of breakthrough 07. God show me an even greater year of adventure in 08. where histories of East and Y-Hope would be created.

shall share jus a few things of what happen past few days haha. we got our term tests results back. on tuesday when i got the 1st result, i was quite shocked. not because i did well but because i failed! in fact i was quite in the daze-mode after that haha. was quite sad since i failed for that subject, and what's more that subject is something i studied for more haha. and so the daze-mode continued throughout the day til i received my next paper. in the process i was hoping to meet some hope ppl i know of haha, the presence of u peeps realli gives comfort haha. tho i think i should rely on God more haha.

and the 2nd result came, was super scared i wud fail again! then my teacher said something comforting, that our class did quite well and no one FAILED! i was really like, THANK GOD!!! and so in the night as i think through my whole day. i thank God that i actualli failed my subject! not because i like to fail... haha. but because i was even more motivated to study and do well for my subjects! projects, sem test etc.

i got 2 other results today. the 1st result came back, i failed. ahhh =x but tho this time i wasnt quite affected haha because the subject was realli studied the las min, i thank God i onli failed borderlinely. praise God haha, yes i will do better nx test! and the 2nd result when i saw i got 24marks. i was like huh.... i fail again? cos normally total marks is 50, and im like missing just 1 mark from passing. so was sad haha, UNTIL our tutor said that the paper is actualli over 40! i was like YAY!! was realli super happy hahahaha. turns out my result is actualli not that bad. praise God!

then today i saw nicholas outside the library doing stuffs, i joined him for awhile and just talked to him for awhile. talked about ministry and stuffs. one thing i said i think is really quite true. i think someone who is able to count his blessings and thank God in every situation would definitely be able to live a more enjoyable life with God! imagine every situation we face that is not what we WANT, then we complain.. grumble.. blame God.. blame ppl. wun our lives be realli sad? hahaha. so wanna live a more enjoyable life with God? start to thank God in every circumstance.

i learned this sentence from winstar long ago which til today i still find it true. there is no circumstance where you cant find anything to thank God for. and i started out finding things to thank God for quite funnily ahaha. i still rmb the first time i took the step to thank God for something that happened which is not what i WANTed. i was late for school despite waking up earli i think haha. and so i thanked God that i was not later than i was already! and then when i head down for the bus stop, i prayed for a bus to come as soon as i reach the bus stop! and God blessed that prayer of mine and there was indeed a bus to bring me to school! and i was able to reach school on the dot haha! praise God!

so yup. this is shud be sort of a lifestyle to thank God in every circumstance. of course there are times when i forget bout counting my blessings, but i know why im able to thank God in my studies is because i've experienced and counted blessings for my studies and i know that God is good! amen! haha

if you are seeing this post and you realise you haven't been counting your blessings much, try what i've done! to thank God for in every circumstance! starting may be like quite "forced" cos its the first step you are making, but as time goes by you will find yourself thanking God realli in every circumstance and also from the bottom of your heart=)

Saturday
last sat was our last service of the year. aww.. me and my info counter team, we had a special service tho! we had our service as we serve God at info counter outside nexus. thank God for all of us who were doing duties outside nexus=) i remembered there was a period of time where i did quite a few duties in a row due to lack of ppl, was quite seh BUT our almighty God showed me what it means that God's presence is everywhere. i could feel God's presence overflowing even tho i wasnt in the service. that was definitely a memorable service i had in God's presence=) praise God!

we all went to bugis to shop for bags, jackets and stuffs. some of them wanted to shop haha. tt lasted quite long til night haha! we slacked at somewhere arnd 5th floor in bugis junction. we sat down and just played a few things and also talked about our direction in the nx year and things happening. 2008 is indeed going to be a super exciting year!=) a year of growth in quality, in quantity and most importantly. in God! =D

Monday
we met up to watch movie at brendon's hse! quite nice hahaha. i cant imagine we watched movies til so late. by the time we watch finish the movies it was already 11pm! haha=x watched pink panther, ghost rider, constantine and abit of chucky IV haha. realli enjoyed the fellowship for the whole day! oh. it was a day without all the ULs as well haha=P

Wednesday
school starts! oh man.. haha but first day of school wasnt that bad since there were quite a few of E-learning for tutorials =/ in the end my school ended at 12pm[self-proclaimed sch end=x] we met up and went to the airport to fetch ben! finally he's back haha! and this time with extra luggages as well! goshhh haha. thank God it was lesser compared to previous times he came back=P we had ALOT of fun on the bus hahahahaha! we were joking bout what we can do to ben's stuffs when he's in his new rented room. hahaha ok we were quite bad lah, so i wun share here what we talked about. hahahaha.

Thursday
we had cg! not bad hahaha. i was host and chairman with yiqin. interesting lol. we had a freaking good time with games as well! thanks star! for preparing those games, tho ur cards were "sacrificed!" hahaha. in the end the set of poker card he bought i tink had more than 54 pieces of card in it including the jokers. cos some of the card were splitted in two during the games! =x thank God he expected it alrd haha. God realli spoke to us about our new year and what's going to happen.many warriors and men of God are going rise up this year! being a man of God is about doing what is right and not what he feels is right! i can see an army of men at the end of this year!

and last but not least i want to thank God for the whole year! for being with me. this whole year was freaking fun and exciting since i've decided to give God my best at the start of this year. life is realli not the same when we place it in God's hand haha.

thank God for all those who wrote christmas cards to me. all of u are realli encouraging! i appreciate the cards that u peeps wrote. thank God for all of u whether u wrote card or not, thank God for placing u all in my life!=)

thank God for the TP group! u guys rock! realli a crazy bunch of ppl for Jesus haha! God is definitely with all of us! every single prayer meet and meet ups we have were realli great haha! i enjoy being with u guys as well =D jiayou for all our projects! haha! after this sem is.. 1 month and 3 weeks break! WEEEE! yeahhhh!

lastly. thank God for placing me in Y-hope ED! i think our guys' group are realli freaking fun and crazy group haha! crazy things we do, while disturbing ppl =P oh man.. but of course this level of fun is not even yet half of hw much fun we can be. lets grow even more in God tgt! lets go! the year of guys breaking sub-district size. the time has come! brothers!

God help us to keep all our focus on You always. Amen.

we had east chalet ytd! thank God for yiqin and his team! realli had fun the whole day. thank God for the games comm =) realli great games you guys have planned out. and the videos was realli realli realli realli niceeee. thanks to the peeps for spending soooo much time for the video! haha brings back a whole lot of memories. i rmb the ancient photo we took for CG madness in 2nd RC! oh man.. new believer times. great haha! but now's even better! AMEN! =D

God really taught me on what patience is about during worship at night. wooah. im glad i blog haha, i can think back on what i've learnt and learn even more! praise God for internet! =P anyway, i had received a word from God about encouraging East to believe God for their group's goals, whether or not its impossible or whatsoever. BUT to ultimately to take the small step of faith to ask from God to remove the doubts! to increase our faith to our next level, never giving up til the very very last moment. basically the "practical" steps in addition to word God gave to jacq. however i think i hesitated too much on whether its from God or not. and when i was decided to go, yiqin went up and shared. then mag went up. and in between i felt a prompting to jus wait for "further instructions". and then dennis ended it with a prayer haha. =P doing God's work should afterall be according to His timing and not our own.

patience. is doing things according to God's timing. theres a time for everything. something that i read alot in ecclesiastes. u would noe what i mean if you read ecclesiastes. you'll see things like, theres a time to angry, time to be happy. or smth lidat and lots of stuff. at first i didnt understand this point. but as im bloggin right now, God reveals haha! thank you God!=)

like dennis loh i dont go for things that are boring. walking with God is freeeeakin exciting! look at my previous posts and you would noe what i mean. lost wallets etc! miracles are normal in the kingdom of God! adventures that are not for the weak-minded and faithless. if you wan to see how normal miracles are. you definitely have to know God and try going through life with God yourself.

God GROW MY FAITH! i want to have the faith to believe in You til the very last min, last second. the goals that You have led us to may seem impossible, but i will have the faith that makes the impossible possible. God, be my guide on my adventure with You. thanks God. AMEN! lets go EAST! lets go ED!

after many exchanges of christmas greetings. we should never forget the main reason Christmas exists. not because people want to get gifts, not because of the cards either. but because Jesus was born!

this is the 3rd time im celebrating Jesus' birthday. so many tings have changed. what can i say. without realising it, my life was changed so greatly. my family was changed so greatly. my life has been basically turned upside down by God. from the lousiest to the best. the upside down thingy is a gd ting jus incase ppl dun notice! =x from a life that is realli not the best that i can have to the best i can have. that is Your best present for me. for us.(tho i wudnt mind other gifts =P. maybe a dinosaur as a pet in heaven? heh heh heh =D)

Lord be with as i walk the rest of my life with You. i am definitely going to see so much more changes in my life and i will never get enough of it! haha. one thing for sure, i want to see so much more souls coming into Your kingdom as i use my gifts for You. God increase our love, not just the numbers. Make us warriors of Yours as we go all out for You. i pray all this in Your name. amen.

never boring holidays. part 2

Saturday[22/12/07]
we had our Christmas service!! the drama was nice. i like the part whereby there were life-testimonies on the flip board. cos i noe my own flip-board and how God slowly changed me for 2years+. and praise God!! and we have one more new brother joining us! think the sermon had something like if we take even a small step of faith out, we could do alot! amen!

we went to sentosa for our xmas party nx! however! on the way der there were several wrong directions hahaha! in the end we were super late in reaching the interchange that has buses going to sentosa de! but thank God for the amazing invention of signboards haha! we managed to get there. cher and esther teo saw us and tagged along with us and got lost tgt with us as well hahahahaha! oh well. we got der in 1 piece. thats what matters most haha. xmas party was fun! song presentations etc etc. haha we took quite a few photos but i dun have them nw so hahaha. but all in all saturday was definitely fun! at least better than rotting at home lol.

Monday[24/12/07]
went to follow up william tgt with prana at tm's foodcourt. thank God some of his uncertainties are cleared. =D and i tink we were realli bo liao haha, we walked and talked for a long time. mainly because we dun have anything to do. but i tink it was still ok since we had some common interests like watching animes haha.

after that a few of us met up and watched alvin and chipmunks! HAHAHAHA! its super funny and cute lol. hmm normally i wun watch shows that dun nid sound effects or whatsoever effects they have. but i tink i wudnt mind watching it again in cinemas hahaha. if i have xtra money that is =x it was realli nice =P think we had some gd fellowships past few days! and tts what a cg is for. another name for a caregroup would be. a group of friends! i noe what's the kind of group im going to build now. im going to build a group of people that defies all world's logic. woo! aites cya!

Thursday[20/12/07]
had work in the morning but i forgot what i learnt during my work HAHA! =x mainly cos i din post it asap =x

and we had our combined ED MCG! this is definitely one of the most memorable MCGs i had! thank God for all those who were there! without everyone present there the MCG couldnt have been a success! by the looks of it. ED is definitely on the right track to being the super fun group that everyone sees and yearns to join =P

we had alot of different sports there. bball, soccer, volleyball/ captains ball. haha i bet all of the sports were fun! but our main highlight of the day! WAR! haha those who went for our MCG wud definitely remember this even if they forgot what they did for the rest of the day. din manage to take pictures tho haha if im not wrong =x awww. the event wud be perfect with gd pictures taken for memories' sake. haha. well yeah thats bout it.

we din hit our goal for that day! BUT!!! the night before i was counting the no. of attendance on my msn personal nick if some of u have seen it. our confirmed attendance was 21!!!!! thank God for it! tho there were ppl who las min din come, but i pray they come for our nx event so they wud enjoy it as well! sooner or later our events are gonna be sub-district size then district size! ED will GROW!! amen!

Friday[21/12/07]
had my last day of work! YAY! but im supposed to wake up at 5am! booooooo. cos my work start frm 6am lol. til 3pm! k lah but work on that day wasnt as tiring compared to past few days i tink lol. tho working hrs increased by 3 hrs =x i learnt that setting the culture right from the start of the group is freaking important. cos i was ushering the parents coming down from the orientation to queue correctly.

the above is a diagram of hw the bookshop's queue is. if i wasnt der u notice ppl could jus cut the queue from the start? instead of going the looonnng route before they can buy their stuffs? thats right, at first i "missed" one parent and then she was preparing to queue in from the start instead of going the long way. situation is critical! because other parents are going to come down soon! and if tt happens while the lady is queueing at the start im goin to have big trouble lol.

but thank God before that happened i manage to ask the lady to queue in the line nicely. and right after that the other parents came down to queue. and all of them slowly queued in nicely. thank God ! hahaha. same to how a grp works. have a wrong culture in it and everyone that joins in the group would follow after the wrong culture since everyone in doing it. scaryyyyy. lol.

i also learnt on how to speak to people about where they have gone wrong. cos of the bookshop auntie lol. because she keeps magnifying every single thing i have done wrong and i don't think she's affirmed me or given me any praise at all throughout the 5 days other than telling me wer i've gone wrong. and that is when she doesnt tell me what to do or how im supposed to do it then i do wrong de. haha. definitely felt sucky. so yeahh. im gonna do my best so that this situation doesnt happen with me to others.

after work i went down to join the rest at interchange. we gathered quite a few contacts and we went to have our dinner and debrief for the whole day. and off we go home! to do confirmations! tho we din hit our goal, but i thank God we had contacts that were willing to come down but they had things on! those contacts were those who attended our MCG! realli realli thank God for making our MCG succesful!
